Yeah, your channel is still on the list of all time favorites for us here in Minnesota great fun to watch you have so much passion and very entertaining with your demented ways!! Thanks
Used these on a really cold day at the lake ruclips.net/user/postUgkxDn2sw8y7H6oNOV0envADWPlTV9pvctAA the spool was really fluent in letting the line out and the whole mechanism was really responsive to any hit from the fish, it was also great that you can adjust it for big or small fish. The light it came with works great in the dark. The only thing that I had problems with is the depth droppers clasp is really weak and it wouldn't stay on the hook unless you threaded the hook through the springs
Great video. Agreed. What"s up with all the negative comments. Fake....his buddy did not let him hold the fish? The water is ice cold and although slow, you clearly see the tail moving on the release. They are clearly best buds. If he wanted to hold it, he could have said "let me hold it". He obviously does not care, so why should anyone else. Good grief people.
Everyone saying this is fake must not fish and if they do they've never experienced pulling a sow lake trout out of the ice, this is very typical of the fish to not have alot of movement after being caught, they're exhausted from the fight and the freezing cold slows them down ridiculously, you can clearly see it moving its head and mouth when it comes out and then flicks its tail upon release, i catch these all the time on Lake Superiour, i live right on the lake just outside of Thunder Bay ON Canada and if this ain't real then ive been catching fake ones for the last 20yrs lol i guess people just are negative when something great happens or jealous. Cuz why else would they open there mouths and state something that they have no idea about. Some people are just messed up.
I can't believe people think the video is fake, the fish shook its head in the hole when they grabbed it, and shook its tail as they released it. The fish was tired and in shock, plus they took great care of it so it had no reason to shake around. Great video Uncut Angling!
Seimans has a video where he caught a small walleye and a monster pike came, hit the walleye and rode it all the way to the boat. Not a hook in the pike at all. Not what happened here, the laker clearly hit the cisco and was hooked accordingly. The burbot was a previous meal. But what you described can and does happen.
I am so jealous of you getting to fish for Laker's. I got to go into southern Canada in 2008 at a smaller lake near Lake of The Woods in Ontario and caught my one and only laker. It was a blast, and we took them back and grilled them, they were great. Where all have you gotten to fish for them? Living in Texas doesn't provide many opportunities to go for them. My all time bucket list is to fish Great Bear Lake in my lifetime. Please I'd love to hear your stories about these amazing fish.
Awesome video!! My favorite fish to target is burbot, but me and a couple buddies have been spending the last 4 years at Reed lake. We camp out on the ice in our pop up shacks and spend 2-3 nights out there, we always do very well on trout and burbot! We were thinking of trying a new lake next year, is Kissining worth the extra drive? as thats the one we are thinking. Also is there good big burbot fishing there? Gotta give these raps a try this year, looks like they work well. Thanks best videos ever!!
Nice to see these guys holding Lake Trout horizontally and catching and releasing them. Holding Lake Trout vertically by the gills is really hard on them and tears them up.
Where are you fishing at? Depths etc? Do you teach on other videos about what your using as for tip ups, rods, lines, etc? Entertainment is good but learning how to catch is even better!
Great fish guys. Lake trout like that go deep... 120 feet or so. If you are going to release you have to be quick as they fill with air. Or put the laker in tail down.
Damn what an awesome fish! Can you please tell me what rod and reel you were using? Not that I will ever see a trout like that in my part of the world but that outfit sure worked well.
Wow!!! What a monster lake trout. I once made the mistake of taking my walleye ice fishing gear on a lake trout ice fishing trip. It wasn't pretty lol. Heavy duty rods and reels are the way to go for these brutes.
+Grant DuBridge - We usually catch our own baitfish or get it from friends that catch it. Cisco = Tullibee = Freshwater Herring. Fresh Sucker would work just as good in most scenarios, and is perhaps easier for you to get ahold of? Basically anything legal that is big and fresh and natural.
Lindsey Douglas actually it's because huge lake trout aren't that good! It's good to make soup, rice and patties. But if you let her back in she'll give you a cooler full of smaller 2-3 pounds delicious trouts every year. People who keep those are posers." Look at what I caught last summer" then throw it back in the freezer. It's pathetic!!!
Have you correctly IDed this fish? Lake trout have a forked tail and lighter color with spots. This fish has a square tail and dark color. This looks like a 4 year old King (Chinook) salmon. We catch these all fall in Lake Michigan. Any way, Great fish.
I have yes I fish all the time and catch lake trout all the time.. I also fish for salmon Chinook and Coho and Neither of them looked like this might just have some odd colouration
Pretty sure the burbot ate your bait, then the lake trout ate the burbot. Pure luck getting a hook up but awesome job. I've had larger catfish eat smaller ones the same way before. Great video guys, keep it up.
Dude needs his own show, awesome personality and his pals offer great content!
he has one, this is it and I think its broadcasts on the Canadian fishing Network
This is the best fishing channel out there. Much love from a couple Minnesota anglers.
Check out his buddy's ( clayton Schick outdoors & fishing geeks ) there just as good of a channel if not better.
Its good👌 but I normally fish for bigger fish in the Norwegian Sea, so it’s kinda sad that he don’t fish here
Lol 8 years later it’s on my recommended

my 8 year old loves this stuff, makes him love fishing more than he already did.....which was a ton!
Great vids
My heart was pumping just watching, you guys are the only guys I watch! everyone else is just so boring. Keep it up!
LOL....That Snow ball was damn accurate!
..
That Lake Trout is probably 15 years old. Glad they put it back
Awesome fish
Coming up on 200k! The channel deserves more than this honestly
This never gets old lol I remember seeing this the day Arron posted it lol BOOM GOES THE SNOWBALL!!!

After all these years and guests.... manny is still the greatest guest ever.
Is it possible that you did hook the bourbit, the laker ate it during the fight and that's the bourbit sitting in its mouth?
I doubt it, the the hooks are in that lakers mouth and all you can see is the burbots tail
that was the bait
Elliot Burack he said that he was useing a Cisco

@Rippin Lips That's the one, bud. Crazy thing to see.
This is the best show ever on RUclips 👍
#UncutAngling
#Canada
This is the best fishing show by a hundred miles. Makes all the other shows seem very dated.
Wow, just WOW!! So cool. Thanks for releasing that monster, boys.
smallest rod iv'e ever seen and one of the biggest lake trout iv'e ever seen! great job
This was the video that got me going to N MANITOBA again ,got my master this year headed back next year for a week ,
He didn't let the guy who put all efforts forth to pull it in without snapping the line or rod hold the beast himself!
You guys rock, big ups for releasing that beauty to fight another day, hope you catch it again in the future ;)
Jake...the trout was a glutton! He ate the burbot AND the tullibee!

Great fish. I'm a hunting and fishing guide in Gillam manitoba !! Great work guys. I got some great brookies today ..
Way to go boys! Those are the fish that are meant to be shown on fishing shows!!!!
I'm just curious whether they released the fish with that burbot still in its mouth. ;D
yea thats way better than a load of burbot spunk, you guys are always entertaining.
4:15 the laugh is the best part of the video
Damn what good throw, that was amazing 😂

Aaron never came off more Canadian than when he said "look at him go" around 2:40
Thank you for releasing him!
Best Ice Fishing Video! What a Beast!

are ya'll doing this up in the boundary waters? That island look mighty familiar.
Hey Aaron Weibe where did you get that camera that was on you side of your hat?
i cant even catch a 1 pound trout....
Jacob Watson How about any trout?I’ve fished a damn stocked pond and couldnt catch a fish.
Jacob Watson If you go if you don’t go fishing just go fishing idiot
Jacob Watson I can’t even catch a trout
Jacob Watson bruh😂😂 rip
do some work and it will pay off
Hey guys, where on God's green (or white) earth did you find the tip ups with rod holders? Looks like a great idea. Thanks!
+Bob Winsor - these are them >>> www.iFishPro.com
Wow! Pesce incredibile,bravi! 🇮🇹👏
It's funny you make such a nice rainbow trout sound so small especially when people like me have never caught a trout despite HOURS of trying.
I thought I'd seen everything to do with fishing, that my friend is absolutely awesome, congrats on letting it go
Nice catch, photo, and release guys!
Nice fish boys wonder how big it was?😯
Great fish guys. Lake trout like that go deep... 120 feet or so.
If you are going to release you have to be quick as they fill with air. Or put the laker in tail down.
a tear came to my eye.
the best part s when you realese that fish.. good job you guys
That’s the worst part I would’ve killed that thing and cook him up for dinner
@@saad4868 that's why there's no big ones
Damn what an awesome fish! Can you please tell me what rod and reel you were using? Not that I will ever see a trout like that in my part of the world but that outfit sure worked well.
2.1 MILLION VIEWS!!!! This channel is where it's at....SUCK IT JON B!!!!
Another great vid guys!
This is for real! I miss Manitoba the fishing is phenomenal!
how long did it measure that big lake trout cause I have a video of when I caught a 27 inch lake trout in a stream
Wow!!! What a monster lake trout. I once made the mistake of taking my walleye ice fishing gear on a lake trout ice fishing trip. It wasn't pretty lol. Heavy duty rods and reels are the way to go for these brutes.
that was truley awsome. you guys should try using lighter line and reels with louder drag systems on your reels. clink clink clink cliiiiinnnnk
Love it!!!!!!!! Loved the snowball perfect! Great show!!
Holy crap A-a-ron. Were you a centerfielder in your previous life??
I fish in Northern Ontario for these giants at my cabin. How far do you put your tullibee down on the IFishPro? Great Videos!
i wanted to see what baits you were using in this video. Are there anymore vids of this trip that I can watch?
Kevin, this was Part 2 of a 3 part series.
Awesome! What a fish! You Folks Ironworkers? Sheetmetal Worker here Local 25 Northern New Jersey.
You guys are amazing letting them go!
Hello! What kind of tip up is that on the video? The one with the rod-holder.
What was used as bait for this big guy?
Where do you get the Cisco bait fish? What would I use here in Michigan as a good replacement?
+Grant DuBridge - We usually catch our own baitfish or get it from friends that catch it. Cisco = Tullibee = Freshwater Herring. Fresh Sucker would work just as good in most scenarios, and is perhaps easier for you to get ahold of? Basically anything legal that is big and fresh and natural.
Aaron pulled that fish out of the hole like an old man getting into a bathtub. I would have spazzed out, and somehow lost the fish.
Great fish... how was your contour mounted to your hat?
"This is me totally wrong!" Who cares that's a peach of a fish...well done!
OMG! What a monster on little gear!
In UK we have nothing even one tenth of that excitement!
Any fish is a good fish in my book but that lake trout was an excellent fish! Any signs of sickness or parasites?
THAT is sportsmanship--releasing that big fish
Thats the fish of a lifetime through a tiny hole in the ice, good thing he want any bigger! Glad you sent him back to fight another day!
I'm not very familiar with ice fishing or much fishing in general but why didn't they keep it to eat?
Lindsey Douglas because it's a trophy fish and they catch them for the sport of fishing. And also to ensure big fish in the future
Lindsey Douglas actually it's because huge lake trout aren't that good! It's good to make soup, rice and patties. But if you let her back in she'll give you a cooler full of smaller 2-3 pounds delicious trouts every year. People who keep those are posers." did that lake trout eat the burbotthat ate the cisco

looks more like a lake trout than a salmon to me
Yeah except salmon have scales, lake trout don't... Have YOU ID'ed any fish properly?
I have yes I fish all the time and catch lake trout all the time.. I also fish for salmon Chinook and Coho and Neither of them looked like this might just have some odd colouration
Chinook has a Black Mouth, Definitely 100% a Lake Trout. I have seen some awful boots in my life, but honestly how could you mistake this fish.
Pretty sure the burbot ate your bait, then the lake trout ate the burbot. Pure luck getting a hook up but awesome job. I've had larger catfish eat smaller ones the same way before. Great video guys, keep it up.
unbelievable...greetings from germany.......we got some little seatrouts from the Ostsee here......
What a toss!! Great arm! Oh and nice trout by the way!
Just Great..... Catch n release also great, respect from germany guys
That thing is huge! I can't believe that's a lake trout!!
Great catch bud. I wish you kept it for your wall. Good job bro. Awsome
Aaron needs to get his own show on sportsman channel
what kind of hook is that? How do you get such a big bait on a small pole? Umm..... How do you catch such a big fish on such a small rod?
curious what kind of bait that wast with the paddle like tail, its not a cisco? nice catch though
very nice trout. How many pounds was the fish?
whats that for a fish? never seen some fish like that!

What a georgous catch thats real Canadian fishing ,I sent this to Italo Labignan.
You should go to Cree lake lodge it’s got big pike big lake trout and some decent walleye
What kind of baits do you guys use when jigging?
Yoooo that snowball throw he straight up naild yo ass from a long shot shit funny 😂 he got a arm
