Monster High had a comback with Creepruductions at Walmart and sold out real quick! No to mention the skullector dolls they've been releasing. We are getting new playline dolls and they actually look great!
Most adult collectors have been collecting MGA brands like LOL Surprise OMG/Tweens and Rainbow High/Shadow High, they're one of the most detailed and high-quality dolls on the market right now.
Rainbow High and Shadow High are great. Rainbow in particular has the first doll I've ever seen with vitiligo (Jewel). I don't have vitiligo but I've struggled with my complexion my whole life (chronic perioral dermatitis) and this doll stopped me in my tracks.

It started for me with the big memory foam cats then I found the smaller blind box cats and the figures. I now have all of litter 1 and litter 2 of the plush and I’m hoping to complete the figures very soon as I’m only missing 2 cats
