- Share Your Screen on Zoom and Perform in Ableton with Low Latency!
Presenting on Zoom creates problems because screen sharing creates audio latency. Cloudchord shows you how to share your screen, perform on instruments and midi controllers, and stream audio from Spotify, and internet browsers with low latency.

Blackhole isn't a dummy channel. It offers pretty much the same features as Loopback, but for free and just without the visual display of your routing.
You have to pay for Loopback. I think there's a little product placement going on here :)
Latency is half a sec over the blackhole. Are you able to jam in Zoom?
@@yarov_me you can’t at the same time in different places. There’s other programs out there like FairPlay
Love and blessings to ur cute daughter
Thankyou for the content .
Good info man, thanks for making this walkthrough
Thx for watching!
You are the man Derek!!!
What up homie! Thx and hope this helps!
Hello Mr. CloudChord. I'm hereinf myself on my heaphones. How to get rid of this?
Slick! Thank you!!
Word up thx for watching
i need to thank you for this video .
3:25 if you're reading the comments, go check out noodlez in the koi pond album. it's a viiiibe
Thank you for this info!
My pleasure cheers!
This is amazing! Thanks a lot!
Thx hope it helps!
Have you tried Zoom Audio Device driver? It is easier to setup. I use it with internal soundcard though, because I prefer hardware mixing when doing calls from studio.
yes i show zoom audio driver in the first 2 minutes and how it creates latency, which was the basis for the entire video. thx for watching.
There’s another program that it’s free. It does all of this. And it’s for Mac and Windows.
Dies anyone know why my friend on zoom would be hearing herself doubled? Bad echo not on my side , only hers, Im running this same setup , ableton, loopback , blackhole, and zoom.. Followed these steps many times, exploring with volume setting in Loopback, I can turn the send volume down on zoom source to make it less noticeable for them but still an issue, thank you @Cloudchord and all you readers bless!
Great video, thank you! What's your camera setup in this chain?
facetime HD from cpu and logitech c922 for push!
thanks for this. guessing this isn't so easy on a pc?
Doesn’t appear so just yet. Not sure why!
There's one for Windows?
not every one has a Mac !
Loopback costs $123 though?
loopback is 99 USD and there's a free trial!
@@cloudchordmusic plus tax, it's $123.
I didn't get why do you need blackhole for that? I am doing quite the same with my uad, but only with loopback. In ableton Audio preferences I have my UA Interface. And you do not need to leave loopback open during session. You can setup it and forget about it forever :)
Hi! Blackhole is for a dummy out for Ableton so that you don’t get doubling/ phase issues with Live and Loopback. Yes loopback is always listening, but I turn it off/ disable when I’m not using zoom, especially when I’m mixing/ mastering. Personal preference!
@@cloudchordmusic that is why you have the option to check on and of muting when capture so you can choose if to hear it or not.
I didi the whole step and double checked many times but when I sing into the microphone (plugged into ableton) while play the midi keyboard (also plugged into Ableton), one would mute the other like when I play the keyboard, the vocals will cut out. How do I make it so that I can hear my keyboard and keyboard at the same time?
not sure without seeing your actually workflow. thanks for watching all my new tutorials ate at @OpenChannelsMusic
thank you for this great video. I am experiencing doubling on my mic signal (Rode NT USB) which I can't figure out. There is no option to 'mute when capturing' in the Loopback devices page? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Thank you!! Are you sure you have the latest update? also the volumes and mute are in a fold down menu!
@@cloudchordmusic Thanks for the reply. I have the latest version for sure, downloaded today. If I have the volume down for my Rode NT USB in the Loopback Monitor source, the doubling stops. Is that the right way forward do you think? Also, will my mic feed still get recorded on zoom recordings this way?
My Ableton live 11 complains that when selecting audio output that blackhole live does not support 16000 sample rate and then crashes. My preferences and loopback setup are identical. Any suggestions?
You can bypass black hole
And just alert your normal out put instead and you should be ok
💪 Stuff 💞
Thank you!!!
For some reason I wasn't able to receive the signal in stereo on the other end of the Zoom call. Did a test with another computer, all hi-fi settings seemed to be active on the receiving end. Any ideas?
Also, confirmed that the signal was leaving Loopback in stereo. But was getting summed to mono by Zoom no matter what I did.
So you are sending stereo but you aren’t receiving correct? Make sure other party has “turn on computer sound also enabled” in zoom.
Thanks for sharing your set up. I swear I don't intend to sound like a troll, just to give feedback that may help out... but the mouth sounds with that mic are pretty aggressive. For some weirdo's like me out there, it's almost enough to make me immediately stop the video and look elsewhere. (it just sends my personal cringe meter to 11) Despite the great and informative content.
Izotope de-mouthclick does well at automating all lot of that out.
thx man old and raw episode for sure :) hope the info helped tho
