Just an awesome interview Cecile is such a beautiful & honest person. ❤ I’m interested in knowing why Cecile cannot speak to her previous gymnasts. Love your show. From Australia Hayley ❤
NCAA compliance has rules about when and how college coaches are allowed to communicate with athletes who are being recruited by colleges. This presents a unique situation since she used to be their coach and now is a college coach.
Cécile! Texting during a podcast? (17:39) Tsk tsk-especially from someone who was just complaining about compliance! Funny how no one really likes compliance, yet we’re all subjected to it. Surely, it's not because some people only follow the rules when it works best for them! Sure, some of us don’t even mind the whole world seeing us ‘make a mistake’ on a podcast (sheesh, so I texted-big deal, right?) ... That is, until the "Optics" Department at GSU calls to schedule a meeting, where they'll no doubt ask us: "Mme Canqueteau-Land, is it compliance or complacency that you don't like specifically? • Compliance means actively following rules, even reluctantly, like meeting deadlines. • Complacency is sitting back, ignoring risks, and thinking, ‘It’s fine.’ But, tbh my bigger beef was with the comment that "we (as in adults? Former Olympians? Podcasters?) can take cyberbullying; but, that student athletes, who're adults themselves, cannot.
1) She barely did anything. It's weird that you noticed and even weirder that you timestamped it. 2) You don't know what it was about. Could've been family or job related which takes precedence. 3) wtf does that have to do with compliance? Is it some official USAG or Bridget podcasting rule? It doesn't affect your life in any way. It's fine. Calm down and stop typing, your royal highness.
Adults can handle criticism via social media, but kids/young adults (18-21) should not have to read horrible comments about them from the public. Cecile’s comment was don’t do that to the student / athletes.
Cecile seems so calm and grounded. This was a nice 👍 interview. Nice job, Bridget and Cecile.
Bridget, I really love your content and these interviews. Keep up the great work.
love this episode!! super insightful!! 💗
Steve Nunno went from coaching Shannon Miller and others to become head coach at Oklahoma for 2001-2006 I believe
At competitions he came across almost as bady as Bella. Borderline rage bubbling below the surface
Terrific interview. I'm eager to follow them and learn more now.
Just an awesome interview

I was a baby gymnast back in the 90s. Wanted to be a Bulldog...I am so excited to see what this team is with Cecile.
Yay🎉!! You are back. I’m so glad!! ❤❤❤
