- Imagine working for a county prosecutor, being questioned by police and telling the truth, then being punished for it.
A former administrative assistant for now-indicted Hall County Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard claims that’s what happened to her. In a lawsuit filed last week, Michelle Daniel alleges that after she cooperated with GBI agents who showed up at the solicitor’s office, Woodard made work unbearable, then drove her out of the job.

County HR person should be personally liable for doing nothing. Sounds like she has a doctorate in incompetence.
Most government employees have terminal degrees in mediocrity and incompetence.
HR's responsibility is to protect the entity the people work for, not the people them self's.

The HR “doctorate” will either be given identity-based special treatment & Comissioner stays or the taxpayer pays for both their actions.
Start having the actual people doing the wrong personally responsible for paying the damages. The county government department happened in should have to reduce staff by not replacing people as they retire-shift existing staff. The 2 narcissists pay and other departments are discouraged from fraud/waste/retaliations.

I worked for two Private Industries, and had a huge respect for our Contracted HR. Went to work for a State Government Agency, the HR was a horrid story. Revolving Door for any director, that tried to correct anything. They hired a PhD Diversity person, that met with our Division. Supervisors were bared from the second meeting. The stuff we put up with came out. She did similar meetings with other divisions. Next thing we knew she was gone. Rumored that they paid her for a years pay, to get rid of her.
HR boss failed at her basic job, keeping the county from getting sued, that's all HR departments do.
She got them crazy eyes. Now the taxpayers are basically buying the victum a new big house and cars.

She is going to jail over $4k? That is even worse than people who embezzle a large sum of money! Imagine going to prison over $4k when your salary is probably over $100k a year.

The GBI needs to do a deeper investigation into this county.. why would the HR director immediately want to sweep allegations under the rug? There must be some kind of mutually beneficial arrangement between county workers mismanaging taxpayers funds.
