Why do I use two different types of resin in my projects?
I use a casting resin to cast and a doming resin for doming.
Casting resin is usually low in viscosity and works very well in molds without much issue with the bubbles. Also the low viscosity will allow the resin to reach detailed area of the mold. Doming resin is thick in viscosity and holds its shape very nicely. It creates a full dome and tends to hold the surface tension much better than low viscosity resin. So lower risk of the resin dripping off the sides. It also gives the piece a smooth, flawless finish.

I love the level of detail you put into your work! the little pearl buttons and the leaf are such lovely details and it really brings it to life!
Totoro is my fave. I made a treasure box themed after him out of clay. I used the leaf as the handle it broke like two or three times before I got it right. It come out great after it was cooked. I miss ceramics .

Ahhhh so cute!!! Do you get all your shaker charms on AliExpress? I usually just use beads and paper like glitter from Michaels. Although I ordered my first charms from Ali this week. Its kinda hard to find some tbh :( I also use nail decorations, anything that can just make sound once inside the shaker
It depends...if I can wait a while, I'll buy from Ali. But if I need something right away, I'll pay extra to buy from sellers in the US on etsy. All the shaker bits are actually nail decorations. You can find many on etsy and amazon too.
