Hello, Great question. No one has to click any ads at all. If someone reads the post and the ad network puts an ad on that post, then you make money. The amounts are small, so it's all about getting lots of views. =)

Suggestions for videos for 2025... Decluttering with your mom, projects with your mom, cooking and baking within videos, more tips on various topics, and of course, adventures with all your family.
I watch your videos because you seem like a positive person. When your mom participates, its like shes a favorite guest star on a show. I personally have no interest in gardening, but I even watch those parts. If you did cooking videos, I'd definitely watch those. I also like the home renovation videos. I'm here for most things but the home organization is what originally brought me here. If you advertised more products I might even buy something. Despite my avatar, I'm female. Beauty, hair products, clothes--I at least look at the Amazon link. I once bought a makeup product featured on a The Minimalist Mom video.

So glad you made your plan work, I remember your video from last year hoping it will work out. How do you compensate for the lack of company benefits, insurance, pension plan? Did you calculate that in? I’m just scared to leave my employer as I get so many benefits, that I would not be able to obtain myself. It is more than my actual net salary.
That would be something you would want to calculate. We got zero benefits from my husband's job because he was a finish carpenter for a very small company. So, no health insurance, no paid time off, nothing LOL. So it was an easy decision for us. =)
Wow! Thats awesome. If you took the $20k day out, how would you have done? Wouldn't it be nice to have those days more often? That would be so cool to help people out. Have you thought about filming helping other people declutter spaces like you've helped your parents do? 😊
Thank you, It was actually an individual blog post that brought 20K in over the whole year. So you can imagine that if you have several of those it's awesome, that was just my highest performing post of this year. That is the great thing about a blog is all the individual posts all bring in views and money every day. =) I have helped a few people with decluttering. Just friends and family that ask =) It's always fun!

Congratulations to your family for making this work as your income. This is none of my business, but I wonder what your out-of-pocket cost is for health insurance for a family of five. When you are employed, the employer offers health care benefits, but self-employed people do not have that. Just curious, but again, none of my business, really!
Thank you! I am happy to talk about this because we have paid for our own health insurance WAY before I started this as a job. Every job my husband has ever had never offered health insurance. If a company is small they don't have to offer insurance. (this is a major problem in America hopefully, someday, someone will figure it out) But we get our health insurance through Covered CA I think it's called something different in every state. Then we just pay for it, just like anyone would who is offered a health plan through a company. The price all depends on what kind of coverage you choose and how many members you are covering. For a family of 5 we pay around $600 a month, but then if we get hurt or have to go in we also pay. The U.S. is the only developed country without a system of universal healthcare...
