Thanks so much for this video, this was the solution I'm looking for. Until today I used meshlab and a second command line tool. So you have totally change my workflow. Thanks 🙏
Hi Ms Nelca, there was also a way to import the CAD 3D directly to the evo. Just export the file from dwg to .sat file (ACIS file) then insert or drag and drop it to the Evo. 😃
Hi, Nelca, I cannot sure of what difference is between the room element and the extrusion object as below, which one is better if I build construction, such as walking bridge, many thanks to your help.
Thanks for the video. I have a question. Is there a problem if one use imported buildings instead of making it in Dialux? I mean, can we lose some functions by doing it this way or not?
Hi miss Nelca, thank you very much for this tutorial video. It helps me a lot. By the way I have a question, why there are some objects missing when I imported (revit) IFC file to Dialux evo? I hope you will notice this.
Hi Nelca Rocco .I used pconplaner to convert the Autocad 3D model(95MB) of a part of a mining plant and I get the 3D to Dialux as you show in the video but the dialux's file it's to heavy it's 25MB and when I try to simulate it's hard to Dialux to do the calculation it takes around 1hour or don't work. is there a solution? I hope you can help me
Remove some unnecessary parts from the mining plant. Send it to nelca_roco@yahoo.com. I will check it and try to remove some objects to lessen the file size of the 3d object.
