Appreciated this review. I got very similar used microscope Biolux (no camera in my model, only eyepiece) on car boot sale. Now ordered camera module (non-Biolux) to can use it with PC. Will see how it works :)

The microscope that I got, seems to be legit, I just used my compact to take some of the footage in this video and it seems to work just fine. The microscope itself is good. What did you intent to use it for???

Firstly - I have medium size CO2 laser cutter, have to examine how exactly looks cut - depth, shape etc. As I have my own YT channel it will be nice to provide video from good quality source :).

You must be a very happy and a wealthy person to have your own laser cutter, when you get your setup ready share it with us. and get some more light for your videos this is how I did it ruclips.net/video/GxVzWoZ2sBQ/видео.html

I wonder if they upgraded the camera, or they are just lying about upscaling the resolution. They now claim it's 1280x720, which should in theory be much better than the 480x720. For reference, I got a very cheap usb bresser microscope that claims to be 1080p but it only outputs 480, their own software (doesn't work on linux, the links to it on their site and from the manual are 404) just upscales it and claims it's native 1080p. Still, I've seen a couple of these used go for very cheap, so I might pick one up anyway.

Thank you! How is the image quality with x1280? Are you able to see bacteria with reasonable clarity?

    • @BuyOrBuyNot123
      @BuyOrBuyNot123  3 года назад +3

Picture provided by the microscope is good for the price, but the stock camera they gave with this particular set was not impressive so as in the video I strongly advise to get an upgraded one. If you take price into consideration it is a good product. You will be able to see large bacteria and other single cell organisms, but If you are used to a proper lab microscope for a 1000 dollars you will notice that this one is not as good.

What I had in mind was an camera upgrade not microscope. Just to be precise. I like d microscope. Just have a look around for better camera for it or use your mobile to take pictures, just buy a camera holder that you could use with microscope, cheapest option.

Are you talking about this thing? amzn.to/32c3JyL ? basically the same thing, but I can see a power supply with this one so you probably can run without batteries for LED lamps. I would go for bresser as magnification is higher but basically the sets are almost the same and brasser seems to be cheaper option as it has digital camera included in the set not the best one in the world but still camera included amzn.to/2NfiM6B

Is the eye piece 20mm diameter fitting to 2Xmag Barlow lens tube? Is the Barlow lens 23mm diameter fitting to main tube? (I’m looking to get a WF25x eyepiece at 20mm diameter fitting to get the benefit of the 2xmag Barlow lens)!!!
I got the improved HD camera but its 23mm diameter fitting which means you need to take out the Barlow lens, but it takes good pictures.

What is the model of the camera you used to get the clear pictures? I'm interested in the size of lens. I'm considering buying this microscope. I don't care a lot about the usb camera but it would be nice to be able to get a clear picture sometimes with one of my two cameras but they both have big lenses.

@@BuyOrBuyNot123 HI man, not literally it will be just using microscope so i'm close enough to be able to say just desolder a chip, or use the heat gun to desolder it, and then do some actual soldering, you know, removing a small package that controlls the HDMI port on an PS4, and then dropping in a new one with tweezersm heating it up and waiting for it to reseat itself. No like MICRO stuff at all, just general, standard chip removal, and replacement etc. any good to you?

Ok I am back with the answer. I had a look around and the best option IMLTHO is a cheap camera microscope to begin with they you will decide to get an upgrade or not. They are reasonably cheap, but do not expect crystal clear quality they have plastic lenses and cheap sensors but working at 40X should be visible and workable. Here is link to amazon UK amzn.to/2St56pk
and amazon US wherever you are amzn.to/2O4wOKn . Remember it is cheap but do not expect to get much better quality by spending 100 or 200 quid on something more expensive to get something decent you are looking at around 100 dollars for microscope and you would have to by camera separately for another 100. So test the cheap one first and they you will decide if you need something more advanced. All best and happy micro-soldering I hope one day you will perform open CPU surgeries ;)

@@BuyOrBuyNot123 DUde thanks so much, so what you're basically saying is, it's better to buy an all in one cheap solution like this for under 40 dollars that has it's own screen, and actually gives a fairly clear pictures whilst zoomed in, than buy an expensive microscope and an expensive screen/camera also. Would you recommend a cheap buf good quality and long life (if thats possible Solder station, I'm talking 2 in 1 Soldering Iron with temp control + heat gun with temp control? Thank you. OH, also, I'm going to need screwdrivers and tweezers and things to hold things open and hold things in place etc, when it comes to Screwdrivers, I want a set that will open phones, laptops, games consoles and their controllers, and things that need those tiny tiny litle Y head's etc (iphone), do you know a screwdriver set for under 50 that basically has them all? can you recommend maybe a starter kit of stuff i could use aloing with my soldering station when i get it for learning, im talking Soldering wire, Wick, Tweezers and things (ill also need a little container with copper wire in it to wipe the head of my Iron in, you know those?) I know it's alot, let e break it down,
      1) a 2 in 1 Soldering iron + Heat gun station.
      2) a screwdriver set for under 40, or maybe 2 different ones combined under 40, that have the heads i need for Laptops, PC,s Consoles, Controllers, Phones.. etc. I mean, Small, to VERY small lol.
      3) a starter kit of soldering iron stuff, Solder, Solderwick, stuff for cleaning the iron etc...
i think thats it??? Thank you! I'm gonna pick up a 35 dollar version of the Microscope and Screen you sent me! It's the same but slightly better xoom, and 2x the FPS! thank you, llegend! Tony from Ireland
