Rachel was so good in this film. I seriously admired lady Marlborough and was rooting for her throughout the movie. Emma also brought a lot of humanity to the character of Abigail. As unlikable as Abigail had the potential to be Emma really made her someone you could understand and even feel for in the last scene in particular.

Thanks so much for acknowledging the first original screenwriter Deborah Davis who found the material, as a non-writer, wanted it to be a film, took classes then got a MFA in film to get an agent , and continued to hone this idea into a miraculous film. She was not forgotten. its been a 20 yr. process for her and HURRAY tenacity paid off. BRAVO. I too am one of those writers. I have hope now...
