Awesome! I’m so happy to see you stayed up with build. Your first video on the DYU and it needing more speed motivated me to both buy one and modify it. I enjoyed your energy and enthusiasm very much. It took me a whole year from start to finish. I basically tore mine down and rebuilt it.
New tires, inner tubes, Mr Tuffy tire lining
180 disc with 203 bracket in the front in the 160 rear
    48v 1500 watt motor
    1200 watt controller LCD & 48 v 1200 watt 25mph
Custom battery housing. Looks amazing I ignore add
    Zoom shock seat poll
New saddle customized with rear tail light
Handle bar replaced with slightly longer/lighter
    Shimano brake levers
    Custom faux leather grips
    Kesimoto Motor cycle side mirrors
    Custom headlight usb powered
    Custom tail light usb powered.
All because of your I saw and believe you that yes it is cool but could use a little umf. Thank you. Keep up what your doing. Definitely have a fan here.

🚲I had a Jpro last year and it was fun for a while! Would you know if the controller kit you used could power up an older 500w 36/48 brushless hub motor? Hard to see the model number you used here but with the J.Pro you can hear the gears working hard as you try to go up a hill and I am 205lbs! Hence the new project. The kicker is this ebike does not have internal gears and I don't see the 3 phase power wires/pins coming out of the hub only two pins +- and 5 smaller ones! I guess they are 3 for the halls one for a halogen light and the last one may be to the throttle or the old on/off key. Still trying to find a 20-30 amp controller kit and battery kit that makes sense is daunting for sure. I fear even the sine wave controllers will over heat the hub on the hills and @ low speeds! Love any thoughts you might have on this . Kind Regards

    Yo Holmes(sorry couldn’t help it)
Is there any chance you could recommend or explain What would be required to do that to an s2 model
    It’s my first ebike.
I do a bit of electric. But it’s been a while
I would be aiming for the same results Also for mostly the same reasons.
I used to skate and enjoy mountain biking
It’s not an unreasonable idea in my own personal situation
I had been considering making several other modifications For the same reasons that you had for the bike in the video
On a side note. Something you may find humorous I have taken the s2 to mountain bike trails on the coast. And other trails in the redwoods
    It’s held up quite well
And the 10” wheels prove much more capable than anticipated
    5’6” 150-160lbs
    With legitimate pedals
They are actually useful on certain trails
As opposed to on flat and paved surfaces Due to the size of chainring and
