🚲I had a Jpro last year and it was fun for a while! Would you know if the controller kit you used could power up an older 500w 36/48 brushless hub motor? Hard to see the model number you used here but with the J.Pro you can hear the gears working hard as you try to go up a hill and I am 205lbs! Hence the new project. The kicker is this ebike does not have internal gears and I don't see the 3 phase power wires/pins coming out of the hub only two pins +- and 5 smaller ones! I guess they are 3 for the halls one for a halogen light and the last one may be to the throttle or the old on/off key. Still trying to find a 20-30 amp controller kit and battery kit that makes sense is daunting for sure. I fear even the sine wave controllers will over heat the hub on the hills and @ low speeds! Love any thoughts you might have on this . Kind Regards
I did a jetson bolt pro with a 43$ 48v controller and a 150$ battery from eBay it’s doing 23mph but Torque is not so great it’s only at about 13amp We’ll look up next on installing your controller to see the difference on the torque.
I bought this controller and paired it with 48v 6ah samsung 30q battery on a Ancheer D1 I got off offerup on the cheap now it has a lot more torque and is much quicker than the stock set up!
Hi there buddy loving your videos and ive just bought a d3f and would like to upgrade the controller and the battery if this something that could be done with your products ?? Kind regards Leeowen
Wow this was so funny but true. I have a stock one and if it does pick up speed once in a blue moon the Steering gets wobbly. You were scootN that's for sure! Awesome vid!
i got a cheap controller $50 a 52v 20ah battery for $400 and a 10inch 1000w hub motor for 175$ the throttle was like 15 and i go like 30-35 mph ive only gone like 15 miles max on it and it held up the battery was still pretty charged when i got home
Honestly that would be a great product to sell here in South Florida because its mostly flat land down here and some of the bike shops here would be interested it the product.Because simply saving and lowering the carbon emissions here is a big deal .Just a thought.
Yo Holmes(sorry couldn’t help it) Is there any chance you could recommend or explain What would be required to do that to an s2 model It’s my first ebike. I do a bit of electric. That's the motor it's plugged for. It can be used for any hubmotor if you are willing to change plugs and rearrange wires to get the hall/phase combo proper
I have a voyager compass 36v 120w hub...looking for more torque and possibly dual hub motor one In the front ...the motor control is hidden in the front and battery in the back is shape like a back of cookie dough
@@HolmesHobbies so if understand this correctly, the new controller inputs 52v from the new battery and outputs 36 volts at a higher amps to the motor?
That bike uses a brushed motor, controllers are not readily available at low cost. Pushing it on 36v makes them wear out really fast unless your kid is light.

As not your attorney (read fear and loathing LV), perhaps plainly explaining and videoing how to enhance the performance and danger (refer to Physics 101) of an ebike most likely ridden by someone elderly, over 50 lbs too fat who has not ridden a bicycle in 50 years. I see a crippling lawsuit in your future sir. This bicycle handles totally alien to your old ten speed. The link provided says the controller is sold out. When will you have more in stock, or do you have a link to something similar?

Wow this was so funny but true. I have a stock one and if it does pick up speed once in a blue moon the Steering gets wobbly. You were scootN that's for sure! Awesome vid!
What I wanted from the beginning is something tiny that goes 60mph XD
I love this am I able to order this for delivery in uk ?
I have just got the windgoo b3 will that controller and 52v battery plug right in 👍
Nice this looks like a more simpler way to upgrade the speed, wish I could still use the light on the bike though! Sure is nice
Adding a 12v regulator later (or hv light) won't be too hard.
So, I have been unable to find your recommended upgrades.
Do you have other suggestions?

which bike? how many amps is the controller? should post a vid
Video?
Please tell me where you got your hands on a 52v 20ah battery for 400 dude!
Great job are you going to get more controller throttle combo
So what did you do with this bike, we got no more updates, did the battery hold up?
Stock battery didn't, aftermarket battery did but was discontinued by Luna. The d1 is now a shop bike for quick errands, the guys love to grab it
So going more than 15 mph without a licence in the UK is illegal (where do I get this or something similar for the df3 DYU)
currently there are groups in the UK with Jetson Bolt dyu's that go 40-50mph
I have a bolt pro (w/pedals) I was wondering if I could keep the pedal assist function and maybe the power gauge with your controller? Lmk thanks
Not with this controller. You have a D3 but these are made for D1
Is there a speed governor i could remove on my jetson bolt? (Not the jetson bolt pro)
Honestly that would be a great product to sell here in South Florida because its mostly flat land down here and some of the bike shops here would be interested it the product.Because simply saving and lowering the carbon emissions here is a big deal .Just a thought.

Does the controller just work for the Jetson Bolt or both the Bolt and the Bolt Pro or what?
That's the motor it's plugged for. It can be used for any hubmotor if you are willing to change plugs and rearrange wires to get the hall/phase combo proper
I would assume the Pro is also pinned and plugged the same but haven't confirmed
Hiii please how i can upgrade my dyu from D3f to d3 +? tks
I have a voyager compass 36v 120w hub...looking for more torque and possibly dual hub motor one In the front ...the motor control is hidden in the front and battery in the back is shape like a back of cookie dough
Fantastic!
Is that a stock motor?
Will it go faster if I only change the controller
Would really like to buy one of these controllers
Definetly need a brake upgrade now!
The rear brake is plenty due to small wheel diameter. A front would be nice.
What does this controller really do?what improvements does it offer.
Much higher torque, voltage overhead, wheelspeed, and generally powerful enough for a 250lb rider.
Have you tested the new controller on the stock 36 volt battery. Does it still have more torque than stock
yes, but a big load can sometimes trip the stock battery BMS. depends on the weight and incline.

ANY NEW CONTROLLERS FOR THE SURRON ?????
not yet, but long term that is a goal.
just solder the shunt to the w module you will see the difference
What do you mean
Battery blender would have allowed u to use both batteries
Damn. Only a year & they're sold out 😞
Battery already out of stock 5 min after video goes live :(
They were in stock yesterday. Sign up for their stock updates , seems like they are building them pretty quick.
thanks for the two links that go to nowhere .
no prob, thanks for the comment
This is cool but not that cost effective. I'm pretty sure you can change the settings with bluetooth to get it to 18 MPH w/o any mods.
I'll need to GPS a fresh charge, it's faster than the stock 36v battery with speed unlimited controller
It’s definitely faster. It’s looks over 20.
