👍Simply beautiful build! As I've said before, if Dodge can build a 2021 Challenger then Ford & Chevy can bring back their "classics" too! I believe they're missing the boat on a huge could be market. I know plenty of folks that would rather have a brand new OLD car with all of the safety components, great brakes & all new technology BUT look almost exactly like the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's era vehicles. Missing the boat👁 No pun intended 😂 Thanks Lou!
Hi Major Payne, You're right. The popularity of the retro Camaro, Mustang & Challenger should get the "Executives" making decisions to include more retro vehicles. You're welcome, Lou

I am 92 years old I worked at a Chrysler dealership in 1947 as a 17-year-old kid doing lube and oil changes I can’t remember the gentleman‘s name but he bought a 1947 Chrysler Woody and I made a comment “that’s a beautiful Car Mr. so and so when are you going to take it out of the box”. I realize now what a rude comment that joke was.

I think the "Woodie" is an amazingly beautiful car, but what was the purpose of using all that wood in the building of it? Just aesthetics? I mean, there doesn't seem to be a practical reason for it.
Hi James, H., Happy to read you enjoy the looks of this car :-) You're right, not sure what the practical reason is, other than to make a super cool unique car. Here is one more for you. Enjoy, Lou ruclips.net/video/Ko0oQlI9G88/видео.html
Vast trunk will accommodate both the wife and the girlfriend, although preferably not at the same time. One has to ask whether Chrysler ever made money on these flagship models. Calculating the cost of all that hand finishing must have been daunting.
My folks had one. Father military, had the car in Austria, of all places. I have a shot of me standing in Lederhosen by the door when I was around 4. Was it a 47? The shot was taken in 1953 or so. Might have been a 48' or 49'. Want to show how big a car is, put a four year old in front of it.

The 1947 town and County is based on the 1947- 1948 Chrysler Windsor platform. The Windsor had a two door and four door suiside door limo doors, this bodystyle was made in 47’ and 48. Powerplant was either a spitfire straight 6 or a powerball straight 8. Would love to have one of each, my dad and I are actually inheriting a four door Windsor. Check my channel out for the first video about it! Joseph
