Hi from the UK. I have spent the last 20 years on a 1994 Fireblade. I loved her for every mile and day we spent together. I'm 68 now though and my right hip is giving me hell (probably because I have bounced off it many years ago in the past and also all the years of wet riding as a despatch rider on some of my other bikes. Always wanted a Harley. Saw an 18 plate 883 and went for it. I love her for all of the same reasons you do. Should have got one years ago.
I am 6 foot 260 pounds and I’m in 1% Club but I’m on a sportster 883 with a 1275 upgrade kit trust me this bike you can do a lot of things to it to make it roadworthy track worthy. It’s a great bike.
Just bought a 2017 for the same reasons with 7k on. Had one before and then bought bigger harleys but gone back to the 883. Heard the same arguments against first time round and again this time before I purchased my second one but its all bollocks as its a personal decision and I love em. Keep up the good work
I ride a Honda Rebel 500, and I really wanna upgrade to an Iron 883. The price is good compared to other Harley offerings, and it seems a natural step up from the Rebel. I wanna put some higher bars on it though, for a more relaxed cruiser style.
Loved your vid . I agree with you broda , just look at it , i am not too old to drive a bike , but I admire this bike so much . And i guess it will be my first and last favourite bike
that's just gorgeous. only thing i would want to change would be the handlebars they're a bit curved for my liking lol i could never afford one but if i were to i'd change it to a straight V shape or just straight like metal pipe
it's a shame that for the French we are not the translation of what you describe but I encourage you to continue the videos are nice again sorry for my English translator obligatory 😂
@@Imhereforthelonghaul Lower miles is better. Pick one up soon because these bikes will become rarer and rarer. Harley stopped making them in 2022. Death of a classic engine and platform. Some say the Iron 883 and the 48 are the last true Harleys.
Make it your own: In 1992 I bought a new 883, dressed it to police trim and escorted hundreds of funerals. It;s a great bike for lane splitting, light to light and control traffic etc. I am 73 now and sold my Road King and bought another, my 3rd, Sportster 883.

It absolutely is the best-looking, bad-ass-looking bike that Harley makes and it's TONS of fun! Great video!
Thanks for the kind words!

The 883 was the first bike I bought new got it for less than $10,000. It is the best sounding best looking bike in that price range.

I love my iron, I had to put 12 inch apes on it cause of my back. Modded it up and wouldn't want another bike to replace her.
