“Oh my God- that girl!”. Exactly what I say- at least 8 times an hour. It is so easy to just let your brain forget that she’s not a 30+ year old singer. Even watching her sing, your brain can’t comprehend what’s going on and it adds years to your perception of what her age is. I always have to force myself to remember that she is a high school freshman... To remember that she’s not old enough to get a learner’s permit driving license, yet, here, in Florida (USA). She is old enough to change the world, however. She is already shaking up the music industry and it will be interesting to see which comes first: Grammy Award or driver’s license.
She breaks my heart every time she sings this song. Daneliya makes me cry a lot for a variety of reasons. She somehow can find the emotional trip wire to every song she sings. This is why we believe her because she believes what she is singing. Then there is that voice, always that voice!! It moves into your soul and takes up residence. From the first time I heard that voice I have been lost to it. She can take a song I cannot abide make me listen to it and in the end I fall in love with it. She has done this three times. Then she makes good songs great and the outstanding song, like this one, and make it magical.

It seems so easy to her, but there is a lot of hard work involved. I think she's still looking for her own way but I know she'll find that way. She was only 10 at the time, looked like she was 7, and was about half the size that you see today. This girl is a future pop superstar. On top of her obvious vocal abilities, she is also a dancer, fashion model and has her own fashion line. She is very humble, thoughtful and caring for various causes. She is also a tourist ambascedor for her home country of Kazakhstan!
