Can you recommend a drink combo that is similar to the strong Vietnamese iced coffee? I tried the venti brown sugar shaken espresso with almond milk and that was not good at all.
@@drift4647 I heard that some people order Grande triple espresso, splash of heavy cream, 2 pumps of white mocha sauce over ice or Venti with 4 shots of espresso with 4 pumps of white mocha with cream or vanilla sweet cream.

Did that one lady try to give you a tip? I remember when I worked in customer service one of the rules was you couldn’t accept them. Not gonna lie I definitely did especially if it was like $20 or more. A customer tipped me $50 during the holidays and my favorite supervisor even told me not to pass up on it lmaooo

I semi trained at the Starbucks at my target one day and almost had a mental breakdown. It looks so much fun to work at but my anxiety levels got way too high after making one drink. And it was the drink I always order 😂😭
I feel that!! It's such a huge learning curve and I was pretty nervous when I first started too 😩😩

Usually there is a screen with the order and names of ppl, but it cannot be seen by the customers
One thing I have learned..not all Starbucks are created equal. I went to one...ordered a cinnamon dolce latte...then ordered the same exact drink at another Starbucks another day....vast differences! 2nd drink was NOT good at all...

Target changed their tip policy, if a guest insists they want to leave you a tip even if you say no, you can accept it. Just let your TL know. My TL doesn’t care at all. Just NO tip jar.

She explained in some previous video, not sure which one, but i think it was something to do with Target policy
i assume because target doesn't see them as starbucks workers, therefore they don't allow tipping.
since they don't allow it, you can't take the money because you're not being taxed for it and service donations are taxed. you could get in legal trouble.
Cause it’s target but I start my job At an actual Starbucks store Tuesday so I think they accept tips but I’ll find out more at my orientation Monday.!

Idk I worked at a hyvee (grocery store) Starbucks and an actual drive thru one and we were allowed to take tips I just feel like that’s so odd

If I order a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with light ice, do I get more cold brew or more cream? Also what’s the difference taste wise between an iced coffee and a cold brew?
so technically it’s an iced latte, if it’s espresso and milk it’s always a latte, that’s normally what people mean as iced coffee, and the ratio is very different. an espresso shot is highly concentrated and the process is with a machine. first you have the beans grinded fine. in more traditional coffee shops you have something called a portafilter which you fill with about 17g of grinded beans. you tamp it, basically pressing down all the grinds into a puck, lock it into the group head to pull a shot. whereas coffee or cold brew is grinded more coarse and made through the drip method, gravity. cold brew also tends to be a bit stronger than just regular coffee and sometimes even espresso because the coffee to water ratio is higher. hope this helps :)

At my store, I’ve seen people order this to imitate Vietnamese coffee:
A quad espresso in a venti cup over ice with 3-4 pumps of white mocha and a splash of heavy cream or half & half cream
Just a heads up, though, they don’t get filled up all the way, because that’s the standard for the drink. If you want something that’d be filled to the top, I recommend a venti iced quad shot white mocha made breve (breve means that the drink is made with half & half instead of 2% milk) with no whipped cream. I think the latter might be more expensive though, and I’m not sure how close it would be to the drink above taste wise, but yeah. Maybe ask for extra ice. Hope this helps! :)

7:10 I tried and tasted this, you need absolute sweetness on this (by the brown sugar syrup plus the mascuvado sugar) because the coffee can be overwhelming to those not accustomed to stronger flavor. I can say the coffee type dictates how the froth will build up when shaken

For barista places why do they only have like 2 or 3 people. I used to be a barista but not for starbucks I was always curious why it would get annoying especially when busy and too much pressure
