Thank you Simon! It means a lot coming from you. It’s is quite astonishing how different the passes are here vs. there and this one was not very busy even. I’ve had quite a few it’s hard to even find a spot to call CQ so I just roll through and answer calls.
@@W0CYC-HamRadioEndeavors I am really pleased to be subscribed as I don't see so many other stuff like this. Keep them coming 😁 it's great that you can fill your log with every pass. The signals sounds to be nice and strong looks like you are in a good position. Great to see. Catch you again good DX and keep up the good stuff 👍
I appreciate that! You were one of my biggest influences when I decided to start Sat work. I learned a lot from your videos. I have quite a few tell me on air my videos helped them get going. Hopefully we amongst others, can help grow this area of the hobby.
Absolutely! I am running an Icom IC-820H into two runs of LMR-400, up about 35’ to a Yaesu G-5500 rotor. The antennas are WiMo X-Quads sitting on a solid fiberglass crossbeam. For control of the rig and antenna array I use the CSN Technologies SAT Controller. CSN is an amazing company and I recommend them to anyone!!!!!
LoL I was wondering what the title meant until AAUUUUDIO came across the monitor. Not quite a full CBer because his audio was less horrible than I hear on 11 meters.
@@W0CYC-HamRadioEndeavors takes all kinds.. you should be on my end of pile ups :) hahahaha Great YL doing awesome things. worked her 1st time many years ago on Saba Island.. C-ya 73
Oh man I can’t even imagine what the pile sounds like at your location! I’ve had some really amazing ones doing POTA, but I’m sure it’s nothing like the island

Nice to hear the activity your side. Sounds busier than my side, more ops to work. Cool. 👍
