I knew the name Kellerman meant something to me, I was just reminded from what it was, It was from a biography of Napoleon. Its from François Étienne de Kellermann, a French Napoleonic era Cavalry general, that did one of the most famous cavalry charges in History during the battle of Marengo, which is neat. I never went spotting all the way to the church, only halfway with about 5-6k assisted dmg, you gotta be real calm and collected to push all the way to there. Great content Claus!
There's an even more aggressive spot on the first map to use from either spawn that will allow you to clear the field if your friendlies can shoot without getting spotted. The only problem is if the enemy light tank tries to make the same play you're often toast 30 sec into the battle. I also only attempt it if there's just 1 light tank. If there's 2 or 3 then the risk is too high.
I swear, the other day i got spotted outside of the white circle of the light tank that spotted me. It was like 455~ metres. My best light has 508 view range. I sometimes spot people at exactly at 445 metres.
Watched all these "spotting" videos... very good... wish we had more content like this... other contributors seem to focus on a particular tank... knowing how to play the maps with different "types" of tanks... much appreciated.

Hard to retreat from and you can be spotted from the river flank. Nobody actually expect a scout to go there though, I’ve sat there as the last tank with their team doing perimeter circles around me 😂

There are serious problems with the RNG, Wargaming is spamming us with charges, people are cheating in droves, and Claus shows us that it's still about the game. Thanks Claus! I've been watching some of your older videos as well.
2nd game, Platoon 2. Both FV's did almost no damage. One might have fired at a non-platoon player. Maybe nothing but, Platoon 1 on the nme team racked up points. Interesting to see what that was about.
KPZ 50 T apparently wanted to clear the hill. However, if he had counted, he would have noticed the two (known) enemy tanks had left the hill shortly after the battle began.
I liked the RU! you can get the view range up to 540m if you are serious about it sacrificing camo. In combination with the CVSthat makes it one of the very few tanks able to compete with an ELC because the crazy view range negates pretty much all camo or at least a lot of it!
everytime i scout on the best 2 scout maps i end up with hical and or top gun with a loss my 50% camo and my 520m+ view range spots everything and gets 3 to 400 spotting should been 4k to 8k but my green teammates cant hit the rock there hiding behind or if they do shoot there not bushed and get whacked as soon as they shoot

We are absolutely right another thing that you can tell people to do is they should be watching in the direction of their teammate because that's where the h*** is the spotting things gonna happen

light tanks are a niche skill. Most players suck. I play lights quite a lot and love playing them. BUT, now the players dont support the light tanks but bitch when the light is dead.
The first game was hands down the best spotting game I've ever seen. Even if he died in the end, he got full spotting dmg on all remaining tanks barring the last arty. And in a relatively meh power creeped tank (no wheelie). Kudos.
Did WG made some change to base exp? I never had game with such high spotting dmg yet long ago had perfect battle with old t-50-2 before it was changed to current tank and I got then over 3,1k base exp. Now this guy gets only 1,65k. Seems like they changed something.

The progression of spotting positions was the key to the first video. Not satisfied sitting in one spot and being uber aggressive. Fabulous match.
I blind shoot that "magic bush" every time I'm on this opposite side of this map. Countless LT's bought the farm by my hand by blind fire.
Good Explanation on why having more than 445m view range is a good idea for spotter tanks. I actually didn't realize how that worked exactly before.

My favourite spotting position on Malinovka always was the line of bushes in the middle.
