Grayson, as I watched the defensive unit, blitz, pressure, and sack NIU's QB all day long, one of the first things that came to mind was Carol Anne from the POLTERGEIST movie saying, "Theyy'rre Heeree!" Incredibly talented and finally showing it! Also, it doesn't hurt that they have one of the best defensive minds in college coaching, designing their schemes.

I'm glad you guys chose Davin Vann as our ROY of the week! And I'm blown away by how well the new defensive starters excelled in their first start against a previously top ranked team. Just a gutsy, tough as nails performance from Martin, Cooley (endzone interception to seal the win), Shirley, Marshall, and Bonner, not giving NIU's offensive line and QB room to breathe.
New guys really showed out. Expecting more of them moving forward
God bless Davin Vann's Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts. You couldn't help but gasp at the catastrophic pictures coming in from Western NC. As of yesterday there were still some 2 million residents without power, desperate for relief, completely cutoff from society or surrounded by water. So many towns, and villages, wiped out as you guys said. So many roads and bridges wiped out. I saw a man talking yesterday that said he didn't know how rescuers were going to get to the surviving residents of his community but that they were in a desperate situation, cut off from the rest of the world, and without food and water. My heart sunk hearing his plea for help. I pray that the helicopters taking off from my area were able to get to them, to at least drop food and water parcels. But people need rescued before the next rains create more havoc for the area. The death toll in the Asheville/Buncombe County area alone is already over 30. And hundreds of people are unaccounted for at the moment. Prayers!

Love the effort of the Vann family and Wolfpack Nation to help in the relief effort. ❤️❤️ If not near Raleigh….Statesville, Concord and Lincoln County airports also have drop off locations and are flying in supplies to WNC.

Let's call it spades a spade - KC was a lone weapon last year. ( Honorable mention - Collins) This is a new season and there are players like Joly, Rogers, Collins, Grimes, Anderson. Ball has energy and it needs to be shared. All I am saying is the ball needs to go the guy who is open regardless what the number on the back is.
Spreading the ball opens up the whole field. We’re getting too predictable

Some of these games left on the schedule... energy and intensity may win you the game. Don't get me wrong, Coaching still has to show up, but we have the athletes to overwhelm these upcoming teams.

I am from Asheville and my home town got wiped out. We cant forget Aydan White is also from there. I hope his family is ok (if they are still there).

I’ll believe it after they put together a few consecutive games of good defense. But I like the defensive improvement that I saw last Saturday.

Isn't DK the one that blew the coverage on the TD? It is great he scored a TD but couldn't figure out who was to blame for that NIU receiver being wide open in the end zone,
That was likely DK, yes. But they were in zone. So not entirely on him
We should all be proud of the players that represent Wolfpack football
Too many players now are looking for that highlight reel hit instead of tackling. What happened to just wrapping up even if you have to hold on for help to get there.
Lack of focus, lack of discipline!
