This definitely had a different spin on the original, but I enjoyed it immensely! Just like an old steam locomotive, it starts out very slow & gains speed the longer it goes! You & your parents should be very proud, Y'all are very talented & amazing!❤

It was kinda long and drawn out. I agree with the poster who said this is a fiddlers solo piece so there are way too many instruments for this song and definitely too many just sitting on the stage doing nothing. A string quartet might have been better.

It feels like heresy to the fiddle song, it's meant to be played very fast, resemble the sounds of a train whistle and wheels screetching and rumbling across the track. This just ain't it. It's meant to be played as fast as ya can and nice and loose by a solo fiddler. Only near the end does it even sound anything similar to right.

I actually prefer the 2006 version from the Country Sisters. Hard to beat Linda on the fiddle.
