A suprising amount of maps can easily be carried by UJug. My favorite map is Craters. I place it on the left side of the track at the entrance and it bounces inside the small crater as it attacks MOABs.
Attack spd vs Pierce is always heavily dependent on the Hero, map, and what buffers you are using. Not always is more attack spd better. Most late game rounds need high pierce so getting your attack spd elsewhere is usually the best option if its your main dps tower for late game.
Bottom Path Dart was rated as D Tier in Update 44 (45 not out yet). In my own testing, its basically unchanged. C- at best now maybe? Personally I think C Tier is fair. Maybe even C+. Its versatile. Its got huge range. It enables big save-ups. That said, its popping power is rather mid.
If this wasn't a superficial challenge putting Gwen next to it is a very good option over Geraldo. Since he didn't use any of the fires from the shop that is.
The crossbow master was changed recently as to where the pierce on top path was made slightly more useful than the attack speed, and this is especially true in the context of a 2MPC like this, as rounds like 98 are super dense and therefore the extra pierce grants significantly more damage than middle path would

For Dart in chimps, I enjoy using ultra jug in certain maps with a lot of walls and CBM on maps once in a while when its entire range can get utilized

You can get the best of both worlds with 2 cbm knowledge and make them 205 and 025, but of course, your point still stands

Pickle is actually worse for him because his base damage was already high enough so +1 pickle damage will reduce its attack speed
