I agree with the concern with lucic on the 2nd line. Maybe try him on the 2nd line at the start of the season but if it doesn't work out put someone else that can play with lucic like Yamamoto or Puljujärvi.. or both
If it is between Bear and Bouchard, I think it's better to go with Bear Also, Drai needs to stay on the 2nd line with Nuge on the 1st. I think Tmac was just acknowledging that he has options.
gunsmithbasic yeah, I been trying to hype Bear all summer. With all respect to who Bouchard is gonna be in five years. Bear has paid his dues. He was top defender in the dub. He put up 70 pts in his final season. He led team to memorial cup with a broken hand. They didn't win. But he helped lead them there. And yeah, I agree, Todd was just saying he has options. If Oilers are down a goal late in a game? Why not put Nuge, Connor, and Leon out for final 75 seconds? That would be LETHAL!!!
Bear is showing so many good things and gaining confidence with every game.
