Awesome vids! Love the info'!! Hard to justify tho with small hobby type knifework!! I notice a variety of machine makes in your videos. Reason? Re theCBN wheels. Are they available with 16mm-(5/8) bore? And, where can I find the price of them?
I still feel like the very tip of the edge on any grinding system is going to be burnt to a crisp. Manual stones are the only way you should be able to not burn the edge at all. Also DING..........
I can't find a a slow speed grinder in the UK (240V) Any Ideas? I'd love to buy these CBN Wheels, supports and paste, but can not find a grinder to run them on :(
That difference in temperature is absolutely incredible...
Exhaustive effort! Very interesting information to say the least. Thank you for all your work and testing. Best info on the planet!
Another fine video.
Thanks.
Looking forward to trying one of these.
would a decent lubricant give the same or better results????
I hear ZDP189 is tempered at 150c easy to hit that with powered sharpeners. Cool Videos.
ooh! Thanks for mentioning this. The www.hitachi-metals.co.jp/e/yss/search/zdp189.html says tempering at 100-150°C.
Вадим, здравствуйте. Подскажите где купить CBN-stone как у Вас на видео? Живу в Лос-Анджелесе

Answers are in the last 2 minutes of the video.
Hi, are you guys still selling the CBN wheels?
Look to be a new design on the CBN wheels.
Are those prototypes for the new ones?
Sign me up!
Yes Scotty, CBN wheels in the video are pre-production trial wheels.

Did you find anyone in the end? I’m in GB myself and interested in these wheels too.
I wonder if an aftermarket speed controller would work?
Oops, my mistake, guess my CRS kicked in early.
Otherwise I would not have asked such a dumb question 😁
Way to complicated 😕
What bit was *too* complicated for you?
