My gosh, there are next to no books on your cart 😱😱😱 I think imma gonna to go with a wee tad more than “somewhat of a cheat” from the way you describe the ebook pre-purchases here! I mean, the Library sale books were similarly priced 😜 But generally I figure ebooks will regularly be on sale, which makes them feel awfy expensive when they’re nearly paperback priced. Still, nice to have them ready to go when their time comes… How do you get recommendations from the bookseller/shop owner? Did they have a special display or promo marking, or did you happen to get into conversation and they brought it up? If the latter, did you ask for a rec. or did get persuaded at the till or something similar? Just curious how such recs come to pass.
Sssh there's no cheating here 😜. I asked the bookseller for the availability of a specific book that they didn't have and when they found out I was only there that day they gave me another rec instead
