I’m from another Carteret…in New Jersey. We have a waterfront too, although it’s along the Arthur Kill River and not the Atlantic. Interesting fact: my hometown in New Jersey and your county in North Carolina were named after Sir George Carteret, who was the royal governor of New Jersey and North Carolina.
