I built my Tele from swamp ash, and put the hot rails in both neck and bridge. I tricked out the wiring by separating the pups into two channels with individual vol and tone controls, coil phasing, parallel/ series, and sent them to a DPDT three way switch on the way to a choice of mono or stereo outputs. You get single coil, two coils in parallel, two coils in series, in phase or out of phase, for each pickup separately. With the 3-way mixer, that gives you up to 25 different possibilities of what comes out the jack(s).
Nice playing and nice guitar! Those hot rails sound awesome! I want to get one for the bridge on my Tele. People say ya can't play rock on a Tele...only country...they don't know what they're talking about!
Jordan Edwards yep! You're 100% right! They're cool guitars! They're simple. That's what I like best about em. Easy to string and intonate and adjust string height. I love mine and play all kinds of styles on mine. Whatever pops in my head!👍😎🎸🎶
Ted Warner did you wind up doing that ? I'd say the neck pickup would be so hot and loud compared to bridge if you did. What you can do is get a hot rails then get a coil splitter and you can have single and humbucker tones. 100%
@@bensinner6251 to split two coils do you need two push/pulls? Say if I put two humbuckers on a tele both bridge and neck. Or can I do it with only 1 push/pull?

Nice playing and nicer tone than when I had a Hot Rails in my Tele. Mine was too dark sounding so I changed it out. Yours sounds great!
Great video, sweet tone and tasty playing!! Pink Floyd inspired !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really great tone, man, this is inspiring - I can’t wait to get a MIM tele and start modifying
thanks
Dammit,,I need to learn that song! I love Pink Floyd!

Fantastic job man. I'm looking at a couple of options for a CVC bridge and this is the sound htat's really close to what i'm after. Great playing.
Dorian two yah. I have the butterscotch tele and i love the neck pickup. But the bridge is bloody shrill. You try anything yet ?
Nice, very nice Marto

Sounds amazing, great job. I'm thinking of putting in a hot rail on the neck PU. I want to keep the country twang on the bridge? You sound great.
