I got this grip for my 43 a few days ago and am very impressed. The bottom of the grip is an Arca Swiss mount so no additional adaptor required to fit the camera to a tripod fitted with an Arca compatible head. Still looking for the right wrist strap!
@@casadelouie I have ordered a narrow, leather wrist strap from Etsy, very plain in design and cost around $30 including delivery. It is fitted with Peak Design style (not original) quick release clips but I will check the quality of the anchors supplied before I use them. I do use a Peak Design Cuff on another camera and can recommend that too, in fact I have several spare Peak Design anchors so will probably fit those to the Leica if they fit the clips on the strap that I receive from Etsy.
No, RRS (Really Right Stuff) Grip with L-bracket included and it is amazing, so comfortable. And it has the vertical arca-swiss mount and QD port. Best ergo ever.
Another company that makes good grips for Leica Q3/Q3-43 (with Arca Swiss bottom plate) is IDSworks. You also only mount it once and then have access to the battery/SD card compartments.
No I it’s part of holding the body in place correctly. The titanium color doesn’t bother me, but that’s me .. if you buy it off Amazon you can return it no problem

I replaced my q2 grip for my Q3 28 with this one. it feels great. perfect size and very comfortable

I’d recommend the Peak Design Cuff. It has magnets son that you can store it on your wrist when not in use.

Use a Peak Design anchor. I have a nice leather wrist strap from Wotancraft.

I just got mine with the gray aluminum finger hold, which matches the 43 gray pretty closely.

You can actually hold the camera using 2 hands you know? One to support the lens. 🙂
That’s how I shoot, but the camera is small for my hands, I need a grip.
Can you snap off that Smallrig logo in front? Does the titanium color clash with the camera body?
No I it’s part of holding the body in place correctly. The titanium color doesn’t bother me, but that’s me .. if you buy it off Amazon you can return it no problem

I like a lot of Small Rig’s stuff. But that grip is an abomination in terms of looks. My neighbor friend has one, so I guess I have to try it anyway.
