Infinite, Mephiles, maybe Black Doom, Tangle, Whisper, and Starline would all be amazing additions, especially Infinite, would be neat to see the jackal in something that wasn’t just the two runner mobile games.
It's odd that they'd fill the roster with avatar characters when there's still tons of unused official characters. Like, you made Jet but didn't include Wave or Storm? What about Omega or Big? Tikal? Chaos? I can't imagine many players would prefer to play as generic, non-customizable avatars rather than official characters.
I’ve played matches with lots of avatar characters and occasionally see devoted players who favor one or two avatar characters over official ones, I myself like to collect the more interesting ones. It feels right for the sake of variety, and works better when the game needs to fill a match with bots. The other thing, I believe, is that so far we have a varied enough roster of actual characters + skins to hit the spot with a vast chunk of the fanbase. They certainly need to add more, damn, I’d love to see Omega in there, but seeing as the game is just starting? @@ashmander3465 never gonna happen, Archie comics are not canon, TV series too for that matter. The only non-game related representation we will see are IDW and movie skins

@@DireNemesis pfft did you even get the point lol, each actual character has it’s own dedicated animations for both movement, victory poses + unique emotes + planned out events, I don’t believe it’s an easy job to simply add more important characters. And we have enough to start, the generic avatars all share the same base characteristics so all they gotta do is design their appearance and that’s it. None of this crosses your mind while playing

So, they made some characters, silver recolors and then decide "meh.. let's just add a bunch of random generated Sonic Forces avatars" they don't even add those avatars that been in promo materials and trailers. A wolf, cat and a bird. That would be somewhat nice... At least that wolf character. What about the avatar who was in Sonic Symphony? That would be cool. Some characters looks a lil strange, like Espio.

They should add NiGHTS. Or atleast another cameo/easter egg appearance. Since sega fails to realize that if they gave NiGHTS another game (and did it right) it would bring a ton of revenue
