That "producer" who mentioned Tao Pai Pai wasn't actually associated with the game at all, he was part of the Bandai US marketing branch. He just came up with a character to say, he didn't actually know who's in it. I'm sure OG will be DLC down the line, though.

Pikkon, Super 17, Nova Shenron, Mercenary Tao. There’s plenty of characters that could be bundled into DLC.
Yes, just from BT3 alone you have King Vegeta, Fasha, all of the Oozaru forms, Pikkon, Supreme Kai, Kibito Kai, Garlic Jr Base, Salza, Zangya, Tao, Cyborg Tao, King Piccolo, Tambourine, Nam, Android 8, General Blue, Arale, Super 17 and Nova Shenron. Might’ve missed someone but long story short they could support this game forever like Xenoverse 2 if they wanted. Skies the limit

Well not quite everyone… but still wow… I want to take this moment to thank the developers , they clearly care so much bringing as much content and bringing back as many previous characters possible and even surprising us with more than we were expecting. Most games many of the people in the roster would be dlc. The fact they were constantly updating and improving and listening so much to the feedback too. Even tho I haven’t grown up with the previous games I’m super hype and this game is truly something special. Sad there isn’t much OG dragon ball representation, but I understand why they chose the characters they did. Ty Sparking Zero developers, this is gonna be one of the best dragon ball games ever. 🐉
I hope DLC #3 is either OG Dragon Ball, or the characters from the DBS manga like black frieza.

I'm also guessing manga characters. Maybe to match the return of the anime or manga in the future. I can see it being UE Vegeta, Moro, Gas, Black Frieza and Granolah.

Jack watching your journey with Dragon Ball reminds me of my friends who didn’t care at all for Dragon ball, then i dragged them to watch Super Broly in theaters the next day we began a week long binge of the series.
Game developers take note, this is how you give the fans a full game with everything and more you paid for, & make dlc make sense and worth it, with sparking zero we aren’t just getting a portion of the game with half of it cut out & made into dlc, the dlc is just the cherry on top 🔥
It's been a great journey, can't wait for gameplays

Sadly Shin, The Supreme Kai didn't make the cut. Yet characters like Chiaotzu, Yajirobi and Babidi did... Im getting the game regardless, i have it preordered. But my favorite character has been excluded yet again, for no reason.

the only thing I have any level of issue with (literally the smallest issue possible) is that daima goku is the pre-order character, cause they could've given us something like shallot since the season pass already has daima characters planned anyway. BUT i'm still okay with this. 18 more days to go

Quizas el ultimo disponible podria ser Merus.
Dlc will probably be:
Daima: with Vegeta and maybe new chars we dont know yet
OG DB: King Piccolo, Tamburine and Tao Bai Bai, maybe even General Blue and Arale
Heroes: Gamma 1&2, Cell Max, Orange Piccolo, Beast Gohan and maybe Pan
The DLCs might not be characters only but story parts you need to unlock chars so it could be a bunch of chars per DLC

Ngl, DBS trunks got the Big Time shaft. No super Saiyan 2, super Saiyan rage got relegated to the kaioken treatment, and spirit sword got relegated to an ultimate.
Hopefully we'll see the other GT characters, but also maybe some from the Super Dragonball Heros anime too like Cumber
There's no Super Android 17. May be they save them as dlc alongside Nuova & Eis Shenron.

Only characters I would still want are Super 17, Supreme Kai, Basel, Lavender, Oozaru DB Goku (Along with a shit ton of other OG DB characters), Pikkon, Android 21 and GT Vegeta forms other than SSJ4.
I have hope though for DLC, there is no way they are only doing one dlc pass for a game as big as this, so I think all of these characters will be DLC. Along with the other shadow dragons, and some more OG dragon ball characters. Shallot, Giblet and Zahha would be cool as well guess but definitely not necessary.

The other characters from Tenkaichi 3 they left out? Some game-only DB characters like Android 21 and Shallot (probably not honestly). I am curious though

My friends We won the best game of the year for all eternity but some secondary characters from the Majin Boo saga were missing and also some from GT and Super characters Mainly from the tournament of power and universe 6 in addition to the Helpers/Soldiers of the Bardock,Cooler,Bojack and Android 13 of the Movies and also Pikkon,King Vegeta,Fasha,that friend of Bardock's who died that I don't remember the name and the Classic Dragonball Characters
I'm sure they will all be dlc and we'll definitely have about two hundred few characters in the future counting everything from Z Movies,last characters of Boo Saga,GT,Classic and Super but taking off apart from all that the rest that is missing my friends with happiness on the my face and great moment I announce with great pride in the heart that we won fuck!!!!
