Y'know something about this feels like it might actually be illegal. I'm not a lawyer, but even if the money was for charity a game show or competition rigging the event for another team to win raises a lot of red flags. Let's look at this in a hypothitcal worst case scenario, what if the charity that was awarded is actually nefarious or some sort of kickbacks happen? This whole thing would turn into a money laundering event. Again this is the hypothetical worst case, but I think this proves that this could easily be abused and it feels like something about this is really wrong. On the pure events outined here its just a really bad compeition. The walk away first place for the entire event loses to an unplanned last minute point bet? Also, in the final compeition if it's shown that the hacks or hinderances are effectively making the game easier, you have to either force it to happen for everyone or you re-do the compeition where no one uses them. You can't have someone do it last and have unfair results. All in all this shit is just a really bad event and I really think there might be something illegal about it. Even if its for charity it feels very wrong.
Honestly you might be right. At least on tv (watching that one dogpack video) they have rules and people checking to see if it's actually fair and if it complies with that law.
It definitely is illegal, you basically sign a verbal contract once you compete in a game and if the rules are altered after they are set in a way that makes you lose purposely then you can actually file.
The Mark Phillips hack on second place in the first half actually makes some logical sense. In their eyes, they knew the result of the dice game. First couldn't hack second. And so, it was only reasonable to assume that second would take that advantage to hack first. So third has the option to either double stack first, or try to spread the hacks evenly across all teams. If they double stack first, second overtake firsts w/o any hacks, and third probably stays third. So the best option, in theory, is to hack second place and try to put everyone on an even playing ground. The problem is that Berleezy KNEW Ludwig HAD to hack third, so hacked third with him to ensure third could not overtake them. It practically just fucked third place over, really. Nothing they could have done.
It looks bad when they scam to have another charity win... It all goes to a charity which is great but, the charity that was in first doesn't get the full amount they were going to win.

By trying to make their last challenge meaningful, they made all the other rounds before completely irrelevant. Great game design 😊
You were literally too good that they had to rig the game in order to make you lose, that's kind of a compliment
by trying to give stakes to the finale they just took the stakes out of everything the proceeded it. Like doing well leading up to the finale was pointless and Statefarm made it so the weeks worth of competition didn't really matter
This was by far the most dramatic and entertaining Gamerhood ever
legitimately a scam this time
Ludwig and his team are absolutely goated!!
bro actually got scammed this time xD
Lud rocking the Uniqlo Makima shirt. I’m loving it🔥🔥
Here's what im going to say before I even watch this video. There are 3 scenarios that came from this outcome. Either he made his own demise because of a plan he went through, he didn't actually get scammed, more like he lost himself his money and spent more than he thought it would cost. 2. He spent money on something he invested in (and it wasn't worth it, but he went for the hype of it)... or 3. The .01% chance he actually got scammed and it shocks us once every 2 years.
I'm going with option 2 lol.
EDIT: NO WAY! Ludwig literally got scammed 😮 I feel like I got scammed out of the clickbait 😂
Ludwig the type of guy to fall for those free money emails
Actual scum behaviour. At the end of the day, 90k was taken from another charity because the producers thought it would be interesting.
wait what happened at 5:07 lol
Its a hack
Is that Barbara? So cool to see her hosting this!
Yeah came to say this too lol
holy shit i didn’t realise how bad Nick eh 30 is at fortnite, no wonder he just does customs with children and reports every single person who kills him in a pub game😂😂
Lmao Nick isn't bad at fortnite Clix is just way better. Clix is a Pro fortnite player while Nick is a fortnite content creator
I hate when competitions add random points for the last challenge that invalidates everything before
I know it's not in the spirit of things, but you should've forced a deal on them for the side bet. "You want a side bet to put someone else in contention, you have to pay our charity the full $100k no matter what the final result is. Otherwise we walk."
This is like playing Mario party, and losing because someone in last place got gifted bonus stars for existing 😂
