  • Just to note, this was my very 1st game with these settings. Did not have all day to practice.

Great stuff. Makes me wanna experiment with high acceleration as well

Never know. It may spark an idea for more expansive settings when youre developing in games even! I would be curious to see if it does. Gyro Aim really does seem like it has a much larger potential for diverse setting designs than any other build.
I should note, my Zoom Sensitivity settings scale up slowly from 1.05 with Low Zoom to 1.15 on highest zoom. I found that I needed to slightly increase my scopes but that may have been just me.

I was messing around with gyro sensitivity in various games and i found out that changing the sensitivity didnt affect my aim negatively at all. Because when you aim with gyro you hold the controller firm and it really doesnt shake, ecen with low deadzone. Only quirk is that camera is more shaky during running and turning around, but even that can be mitigated with increasing gyro deadzone, precision scale and/or decreasing vertical sensitivity to sth like 60%.

I feel like my movement is much better with max sens but my tracking really suffers...is there a good way to find my best lower sens or would smoothing these settings have the same effect? Thanks

You could try leaving the High End Sens at 20 but slightly increasing the Initial from .15 to .2 and see how that feels. This will increase your Low End Sensitivity from 3 to 4. If your aim is a bit sluggish at times, this can help. That or lowering the Threshold every 5 to 10 points. This will make your aim feel a little looser at the slower speeds and get you to the High End Sensitivity quicker.
When making adjustments, choose one and tweak it first. Then revert it back and tweak the other to get an understanding of what each setting can do. Then it becomes easier of adjusting both at the same time later on. You can do this in the Shooting Range. Mess around with close range weapons and scopes.
When it comes to these type of settings, know that its going to take some adapting for your brain but also tweaking for each individual to meet their preferences. It could simply be that 20 is too high as well and you may need to adjust the range from 3-20 to maybe something like 4-16 Sensitivity range along with tweaking Threshold to accomodate it.
You just have to play with it till you hit that "feeling" where you know you like the settings. Thats much of what I had to do. Let me know if you have any other questions.
P.S. - if your Hipfire feels excellent but certain Zoom levels are an issue, then tweak the Zoom multipliers at this point. I have mine going from 1.00 at Low Zoom and increasing up to 1.15 to my Max Zoom because my snipers felt a bit "restrictive."
      Hope this helps.

Hey I recently learned that if you wanna track easily and lazily too you have to be on max fov
      Trust me n try it
Tweak your sens to match the fov you select

I've been thinking of experimenting with acceleration but haven't sincd I was fine with increasing my sensitivity on my steam deck given its weight, but now that I have a dualsense I might try it out.

Ive done multiple test on this. The target tracking and acquisitions is superior and faster yes! However aimassist is better you just cant beat it.

Lol Aim Assist needs to be nerfed. Theres a reason controller is used even over Mouse and its because of AA. Youre not wrong that AA can be better. Youre not aiming yourself half the time (plenty of videos prove that and I see it in Killcams plenty). Theres massive amounts of complaints on just about every social media platform about devs over abusing Aim Assist and destroying the skill ceiling for their games.
The latest victim is The Finals. The devs implemented snap-on AA (which is practically an Aim bot) and man that had tons of players pissed. Its a major issue.
Gyro Aim can allow games to get back to more normal gameplay. Gyro Aim can finally allow controller players a "mouse-like" method thats 1:1 intuitive without the need of assistance. Thus taking away the over-reliance of AA and nerfing it.

@@BJgobbleDix the finals takes 3 mags to take ppl down lol yes there is aim bot in tht game I made max sense with NO thresholds and it was just doing the work for me haha. I just tried your updated gyro setting and they are literally perfect! The tracking ohh baby!! It's feeling so natural now excellent work BJ!

@BJgobbleDix hi I play the finals on controller and they updated it today with less aim assist, which I'm totally cool with but it got me down this rabbit hole of gyro and flick stick. I'm intrigued at the thought of it and plan on trying it in the finals today. Nice video

What is better high medium or low sens in your opinion

    • @BJgobbleDix
      @BJgobbleDix  8 месяцев назад

Thats a more subjective answer. Everyone will have a different opinion to suit their needs. Everyones brains' function differently. For example, I like to play with Inverted Controls when not using Gyro Aim. My friends think Im weird but thats what I grew up with 😆
Reality is, the higher Sensitivity you can handle while staying steady, the better. No different than a person who likes a high DPI on mouse and can track well with it. They adapted to it.
If you get to a point where you hit a cap for your steadiness and tracking but want a higher range of motion, then you can incorporate Acceleration.
For some people like myself, a Low of 3 and a max of 20 is what I need to hit all checkboxes for the most part--20 maybe high at the moment but Im running it to test some things out.
For others, 6-16 might be more preferential.
From there, messing with Threshold further defines the strength for your Highs and Lows. You want to be closer to a "Linear" feeling Sensitivity, set the Threshold lower (such as 55 or lower) which will make you feel on average, hitting that high Sens. If you want a more steady increase in Acceleration so that your Low is more prevalent but still have access to the Highs, then you set the Threshold higher (something like 70 or above).
      So its all preferential.

Why do you leave it without aim assist? you miss a lot of shots like that

    • @BJgobbleDix
      @BJgobbleDix  7 месяцев назад +4

Aim Assist is shutoff no matter what if you use Gyro Aim. Its treated like a mouse on PC.
And this was me testing settings with Gyro Aim for the first time on an extreme level.

No i get it. I have been gyro player for over five years now and i understand what it can do. Tracing, snapping on multiple targets and so much. however in mw3 when it comes to close range aim assist just dominates which i think is very unfair when gyro could do so much. I am fairly good in multiplayer with gyro but when i started playing resurgence and BR i have lost all hopes for it well you can take down long range targets and snap between targets and really good with tracing but after a lot of attempts it hurts me to say I am switching off gyro.
And sorry for this long ass rant about this its only me trying to find a better solution for it and i deep down know there isn't any atm.
Wish there was aim assist feature on gyro as well
Btw great video keep it up !!!!
