@ the Kings…Bigbang MADE was done differently they first dropped album ”M” 2 vids album (bae bae/loser) then album “A” 2 vids Bang Bang Bang/We Like 2 Party “D” Sober then “E” Lets Not Fall in Love..then dropped the MADE full album by then all 6 MVs were out. Anyway i think what YG meant was for a group first album they dont normally drop 3 MVs
Babymonster Vocal moments with Some major award winning Part's from Ruka and ASA Always appreciated music like this gonna be so much appreciated in Korea because not many artists does It in America
Love, May be .....I love this. can't wait they perform in live one day. They just released Clik Clak Dance performance, hope you can check it out too...Thanks !!!
Love Maybe was sending me especially the second half of the song the harmonies with Rora and with Rami’s whistle note adlib 🕊️ Billionaire certified banger Really Like You feel good music
Their songs may be hit or miss with me throughout their career, but I will never deny the insane amount of talent in this group and thats what keeps me coming back. Like, Rami and Chiquita are this good now, and they're still young and can improve even more. And 5:00 I agree with you about vocals, rap-line is insane as well, but it's their vocal tracks that stick with me. 'Forever' hooked me, but 'Dream' and 'Stuck in the Middle' made me a fan. And then I'm also just a sucker for a good hip-hop/r&b track like 'Really Like You'. Idk if they'll ever get into my top5 groups, but YG is doing good with them so far.
They just released a performance video for Clik Clak. You should definitely check it out, since we didn't really get any choreography in the music video.
Those videos are wrong in some parts, in terms of which member is singing, in some parts they put members who are not, but the most important thing is that you can see the translation and hear their beautiful voices.
I loved all the songs, and as a fan of YG (the groups), I loved this whole album, it has a lot of the essence of YG in all the songs(2ne2, ikon, winner and akmu), especially in "really like you", I loved that Mino and G-Dragon got involved whether as writers or composers, I loved that Ruka and Asa also had credits as writers in two songs and Asa also in Batter Up as a writer and composer, even the batter up remix is very good, in addition to the music the vocals are also different from the normal one. And I know that all the songs are going to sound even better live and I liked how all the songs were about them, about the group and that "love in my heart" was a song for the fans, I think that's why YG said that this song would be the one they would sing at the end of the concerts. Also, YG put a lot of budget into this album, we already have videos for 4 songs and he said that maybe he was going to record a video for all the songs. I also liked that the raps and flow remind me a lot of 90's Kpop hiphop which makes sense because YG is involved as writers, composer, arranger and it gives me vibes to the way he rapped when he was an idol in seo taiji and boys. So far they have been doing well with Babymonster and the girls always do amazing too
I agree with your intro. YG has righted their ship. 🚢The past is the past and I think Blackpink leaving to do their individual projects really woke Yang Hyun-suk's eyes. He has been more open, willing to admit his mistakes with 2NE1, and nonverbally admit his mistakes with Blackpink. Now we see all the fruits with Babymonster. I was introduced to kpop through Blackpink and I am a YG stan. I have ventured into other groups but YG will always have that western charm, pop, funk, swag, etc. JYP is too soft for me, SM is very catchy, HYBE is disorganized and ready to implode, then you have smaller agency's like CUBE. So yeah, YG has a distinct style and sound and I love them for it. *** In closing Blackpink had to slap YG out of his tunnel vision
did you catch all the references to Dragon Ball in Wake Up in Tokyo? It's YG's effort to capture the J-Pop market with Japanese style hip hop and gaming references...I wish they used more Japanese though....
I remember YG saying when he listens to the album he feels like making a M/V for each one of the songs...coz the B-sides are all Title Track worthy...now i understand why he felt that way after listening to this album...so first time for YG or for any company in kpop really to be making 3 M/Vs for the album....Love in my Heart is also getting an M/V coming soon!!!...and in regards to the Blackpink thing in the past i think it was all Teddy..YG entrusted him BP from debut...the reason why i think that is i see MEOVV after debut..and they havent been really busy compare to when Babymonster debuted. After The Blacklabel departed the old YG building...YG hired more producers and invited alot of international song writers for the annual YG Song Camp.
Personally, I find myself streaming their RnB, vocal heavy songs more. Like That in the previous mini was my fave and this for this one it's definitely Billionaire. Their vocal colours are so unique and rare in the K-pop world where a lot of GG have that bubble gum pop vocal. And the rap line is top-tier too.
I believe that Babymonster vocals more better then Meow. I'm not saying that Black Label "Teddy Park" not good person, Meow members not have enough Training experience and the years wanted BabyMonster members wanted though with YG. I love good music and vocals and Live performances with a bands. Baby Monster have all that under their belt now. What do you think?
Woke up in Tokyo was a mistake I feel, it's way too juvenile and cheesy, Ruka and Asa aren't even the young ones in the grouo. Also seriously undermines Ruka and Asa's ability as artist, be it their talent for singing or rapping. I wish this unit had a proper song =(

I'm so ready to see Rami hit those whistle note flutters at the end of Love, Maybe when they inevitably drop a live performance of it.
No skip album🔥
There are plenty of people that will skip “woke up in Tokyo”. They are wrong. But they are out there.

@@artist_37 exactly what me and my bro said. I was fine with the rapping but the chorus was like a kidz bop song

@@MindOfMando yes its a first for YG or any Agency in Kpop to make 3 M/Vs for the comeback...usually you get 1 or 2 the most.

Baemon is the fastest YG artist to got a full album.
Think it was treasure, they released it after 5 months of debut
