Years ago I used to throw real baits in haulover where I caught my lifetime personal best redfish, but that’s just not interesting to me anymore. To me, anyone can hook a live bait on and let it swim around until something eats it. Where’s the challenge in that?
Have you ever fished for tarpon in the lagoon I’ve seen some rolling in the channel and am thinking this weekend of trying to free line a mullet to catch one.

@@JeffHammerFishing With the good camera I have a great microphone on it and that helps. Gopro, it's on my head so it is decent. I've learned how to edit much faster these days, and I am working on videos almost non-stop. The closer look videos are more of a pain because I really do need something to work the lure for me, and I don't have that. I think I might be doing some videos on the lagoon soon with a buddy and he is going to use the stuff on his site and me on then channel too. Hopefully!!! Keep up the great work bro!
Well, mine isn't a center console, it's a side console, which is a lot lower than a true center. But, yes I do stand and drive quite a bit. You'll see me doing it at +30mph in some older videos. It's not bad except I do have to hunch a bit to operate the throttle.
Thanks Jeff for getting back to me. I am 5ft 6inches how tall are you? I am debating ordering one for next year or I found one in Naples with a side console that I could get right away. Decisions, decisions lol
@@SwivelStickMichaelMalle I'm 5'10". I think a side would work great for you. Honestly, I could raise the throttle control if I wanted to, but I like to sit. I stand all the time fishing, so after a few hours it's nice to take a rest while driving.
Jupiter George Fishing Hey George! So, I can’t definitely say if there is any grass or not. The best I can say is that in some places I could see just a hint of color variation that suggested some type of vegetation. Whether any of it was actual grass or just those brownish algae mounds you see all over I can’t say. The elbow is improving. You might have noticed I did this whole trip right handed for a change, so it’s getting there.

Cabbage Nathan I have, but I don’t do real baits and so I’ve only caught a handful of them. I’ve actually caught more on fly than anything else.

I launched at Riverbreeze Park in Oak Hill. More of my videos start there than any place else.

Jimdoggy Yes, there is some. Not much, but if you look in enough places you can find some here and there.
