almost unbearable to watch was that ghost friend story and scenes, so bad and cingey, thankfully i watched it on a cam rip

I liked the movie very much. I turned the review off after ten seconds because he did not. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to not like a movie but I am bored of the way people try to monetize not liking something. The movie made me pretty happy, that's my review.
It just a popcorn movie it’s not dune ! Or blade runner or alien!! Just let it be a movie 🎥 and chill
Not the biggest Ghostbusters fan, even though I'm 48 and grew up with them, but one thing that irritates me and just makes no sense is the whole world dissing the Ghostbusters as cranks and fakes, they claim there's no witnesses!, wtf!. So nobody saw the crap happen at the Shandor building?, Stay Puft?, the freakin'. Statue of Liberty walking?, a museum covered in slime?. Nonsense.
As a GB fan, AND a masochist, I've watched hours of Frozen Empire reviews and analysis and this chat, by far, is the most astute take. Especially the Aykroyd stuff. My personal view is that the genius of Ghostbusters was that it was 'National Lampoon vs Ghosts'. Giving it the Marvel treatment loses sight of what made it unique. Like making a Trading Places cartoon. Hard truth is; it looked like a franchise starter but was, in fact, something far more special.

Ghostbusters: 3 Angry Men
As a lifelong fan who holds the first two films in high regard, I’m not sure what to think of Frozen Empire. I was expecting New York to be frozen much sooner in the film which the trailer alluded to. I did find it surprising that they shot it in London though I do recall they were filming around the Canada Water area too, I remember Jason Reitman was doing a screening of the work of Ghostbusters 1 last year and saying that he was going to show the Frozen Empire workprint the day after to the studios. I’m curious to know how much was cut out.

I like how Vigo is built up in GB2. Shown early, his power grows all the way through. The Ghostbusters don't really know how much of a threat he is until enough time passes. While they're busting and keeping busy. As Dana continues to experiences weird things in the museum. Then go in get readings and do their homework on him. And things continue to get worse. Great bad guy, nice build up. I have mixed feelings on Frozen Empire. Definitely going to watch it again on 4K when it comes out! Hopefully my issues with will go away after I see some of the deleted scenes Gil said was going in the special features.
