I started watching Bringing Up Bates one year ago and within 3 months I had watched all of the episodes and I don't even normally watch television. I was so moved by this precious family with their religious values and nineteen beautiful children. I try to follow all of them on social media as I honestly feel like they are part of my family now, too. I enjoyed watching Katie grow up, go to cosmetology school and even learn to fly an airplane! She's so accomplished! I was so excited when she started talking about a young, talented man she met from New Jersey! They are a wonderful couple and seem to be equally yoked in so many ways. Their hearts for the Lord shine brightly! Mazel Tov! 🥂💞

I have fallen in love with the Bates family over all these years on TV. Talk about the ideal family. It’s nice to see that it can still happen in this day and age.
I mean all I have to say is the Bates family is beautiful and I truly mean inside and out. Each daughter is just so stunning. The true spirit of each is just heartwarming to me.

I watched the wedding of Trace, then Nathan and now Katie’s. I cried when I saw the sisters crying. I shed tears thinking about my late sister’s wedding and how I also cried knowing that change is inevitable. I am not married but I always thought my sister would be my maid of honour if I ever got married. I’m touched when I see weddings where sisters are the bridesmaids bc it’s such a blessing to share the big day with them beside you.

Aww..Just finished watching the wedding video (wish so badly we could have seen it on Bringing Up Bates) I have to say I held back tears. Your and absolutely radiant bride and your beauty radiates inside and out. You and Travis can and will make it through every obstacle that lies ahead of you, keep God first stay grounded and believe he above anyone else will get your through the toughest days. As I have always been told marriage isn’t easy, it takes lots of work, it takes perseverance and it takes the love of God, he is what makes a marriage work. I believe this 100% God works in wonderful ways, as you and Travis very well know. As God just doesn’t join two people he joins the right two people in holy matrimony, for good or for bad and for sickness and health. He will lead the path you will just need to follow it. Your dad for some reason gets my tears rolling. As a minister he's wonderful uniting you in marriage. But, as a father, the love he has for his family is beyond measure. It's a bit different when you girls marry than the boys. He's giving you over to another man that he puts his complete trust in to take care of you as well as he did. That's hard as a father but he loves Travis and knows he's a good man!
