This is a right buzz. I also live in Perth WA. I can’t wait to purchase my older style girl. I should of watched the whole vid before commenting, but the enclosed out room makes it super spacious. Thanks for sharing.
Loved your complete set up. Lots of great ideas.. maybe next time select more soothing background music.. doesn’t need to be so loud.. only negative was music otherwise love love your rig
good video - thanks for sharing - I like that you have combined it with a trailer as it gives you much more flexibility and I see you have a boat/kayak rack on top - nice.
Yes, that one is a bit old now and there have been a few mods and changes since I last filmed it. Hopefully I will get time to do a new video in the next few weeks. The challenge at the moment is to get it working properly as we have been having some mechanical issues over the past 2 years.
Anything over 20 years old and parts can be very difficult to get. We recently wanted to replace the rear suspension and couldn't get a kit so you have to factor that in when you buy an older vehicle.
look good. i am working on my toyota coaster BB10 1977 you can see in my little photo. it needs more work inside and out. I got the insulation and new walls and ceiling to go up soon. no toilet and no shower in the coaster it will be outside in a tent. I have a video of the coaster on RUclips somewhere I have lots of videos
Western Australia Now and Then thank you for your very prompt response, really appreciate it, enjoy your vids and I’m getting lots of great information, would love a video just on trailer if you ever get the time or inclination, I’m sure others apart from myself would get a lot from it. Anyway happy travels, stay safe and keep up the great information you put out, we just enjoyed a fabulous few days at Shelley beach because of one of your videos 👌 Den
@@rivernelson7239 Hi, just got round to doing a video just on the trailer. Took a while but I did get there :) ruclips.net/video/IR-5A0rDQAQ/видео.html
Very brave of you showing this. The person sitting in the back at a seat without a seatbelt is a worry. The annexe with walls is illegal as the gas hot water and the gas fridge exhaust into it. Not just illegal but you could wake up dead. Please be careful.
Do you not appreciate people watching and commenting on your videos? Would it hurt you to hit that love button on people’s comments and show a bit of gratitude?
Unfortunately RUclips doesn't always notify me about comments and some don't show up until months or years after the clip has been published. I can't check them all because we have over 600 vids uploaded but I do try to respond or like comments where appropriate.
Nice vid, but wandering around the back....I know, I know, I've done it myself, and it feels safe but all the driver has to do is hit the brakes because of an animal or whatever, and you'll be flying forward at speed...and slamming one's head against some of that interior stuff is a hideous thought. Good set up, though.

Absolutely can’t wait.

Out.
Awesome set up
We love the way it has been done but I wish the mechanical side would settle down a bit. Not much we haven't replaced or repaired by now.
Cool vid! Liked and subbed. We love these Coaster conversions

Yeah, this is a pretty old video now. I wasn't much good at editing back then, hopefully the newer videos are getting better :)

Wow, impressive. Thanks for sharing. Des in Costa Rica
Thanks Des, The Coaster is well set up but it does have the nasty habit of breaking down more than it should :)
Love the layout, any chance we could get a new 1080p video?

@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen When I was young and the car use to make funny noise's dad just turned up the radio 😁
I thought I was watching Dr Who when the music started
Hmm, I suppose it is a bit sci-fi ish :)
Very cool
very nice
Can you talk about getting parts for a 34 year old bus in your country? Am considering a 1992 Coaster from Thailand.

@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen Thanks, man Enough to put me off my plan.
@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen What were you wanting to replace, shock, pins and bushes? or were the hangers worn too?
how many kms have been done?
👍👍👍
Irritating music.....should use something nice and soothing to match a nice quiet camp site. Just a thought. Nice camper though.
Totally agree had to turn volume down

We had a 79 Coaster some years back, went like a rocket as someone had put a Falcon 6cyl engine in it. Hope your conversion goes well.
i have a Holden 202 blue engine with the coaster 4 speed gearbox in it. and is a column shift. it will be on the raod one day soon
What size is the trailer? Did you do the mods on it yourself, thanks in advance
Den
The trailer is a 6x6 foot and we did some mods including adding the boat rack, some shelving, power system, ventilation etc.

@@rivernelson7239 No worries I will try and remember to do a more detailed video on the trailer next time we take the Coaster out for a run.

Couldn’t watch because music was awful
Not the best music I have ever put on a track. Made back in the days when I didn't have much to choose from :)
