Moments from before and after the mid-set break of a unique and unforgettable night at Belleville's lovely Empire Theatre, as an accident down the street caused a major power outage and continuing fluctuations, creating a performance challenge that Alan and his Beautiful Gypsies rose to with admirable grace, charming humour, and undaunted perseverance on this the final night of Spring Tour 2017, giving all those in attendance at the Empire the opportunity to be present at a very special show. Belleville ON. April 1, 2017 (Yes, it's a fitting date for such shenanigans!)

are part of these audiences ...
committed to have fun & make it great. Loved that Alan went out into the audience. Everyone did so great ! Surprised Alan didn't tear into Bohemian Rhapsody ... pitting one side of the audience against the other ...which ramps up the fun even more. Way to end the leg of the tour. Absolute Professionals !

Don't know that I've seen a more real, heartfelt, beautiful performance showcasing the true talent and professionals of these musician. To power through a set with dodgy power issues is amazing. And the fact they kept the audience engaged the entire time, and had fun throughout. Kinda wish I could've been there myself.
That was fantastic. Pros all around! The show goes on when the power is off!
More!!! Fantastic! Only thing that would make it better is if I had actually been there.
