Props to Sarah for getting Michael to do this sketch. Every other sketch written for Michael he's either the cool or the sexy guy, but Sarah was like, "Nope. How about you wear goofy prosthetics while I smear spaghetti in your face?"
Proud to say that Sarah Sherman was as much of a free spirit in middle school as she is now. I was a teacher in that school watching her with her friends. She refused to follow convention then (dressing in 1950s clothing) and EVERYONE loved her for it. Straight A student, kind, super hilarious mind and just a great kid with many friends. Her goal was to be unique, and if that meant some people being turned off or not get her humor, she was fine with it. I am so enormously proud of her - even for the times I find her more disgusting than funny - that’s just our Sarah saying “I’m who I am, and if I go down, I’m going down being me.” That’s all we want as teachers in middle school. For a kid to embrace their unique self.
@@jamesalafayette8255 You don't know her either - she graduated from Great Neck South High School on Long Island. Presumably, she also went to the local middle school.
I believe the pitch went something like "hey you know those mouthpieces you have to wear in games like Speak Out? they look like someone's face after they got trapped on a rollercoaster going 150mph for 19 hours."
Ok I was trying not to laugh loudly while watching this while my kid naps, but I could not hold it in! My eyes are watering! This was the most bonkers idea and all I can say is I'm so glad Sarah is on this show! Massive props to Michael for having fun with this!
I can't stand wearing that mouth thing at the dentist for five minutes, so props to these two talking, eating, and drinking for an entire sketch like this 👏
This was the very first sketch after the monologue, which tells you how much the show trusts Sarah. Her work outside of SNL is so odd in a way that she probably can't get on the show, so I appreciate how she still tries to get in as much weird stuff as she can.
This has the same energy as that one Ten Minute Power Hour mixed with Sarah's signature absurdity and physical comedy, I loved it!! There was clearly a conscious effort to put as many words in there with consonants that use the lips and the result is just magnificent. 👌
I’m so glad that Sarah is a part of the cast… When she came for the first time to the show, I knew she would stay. Such a different energy, brought me back to the times of Nickelodeon was Nickelodeon, but now for grown-ups. 😊 Love it!
Ok I'll give it to them this time. I was actually laughing out loud* during some of this. Reminds me of the holiday episode where they were chewing food like a bird. That one is a classic.
😆 This is giving me Dan Aykroyd flashbacks, where I want to ask, "Who wrote this stupid shit?" but I'm laughing too hard to get the question out. And wow, Michael B's a trooper! I don't remember ever seeing a host appear in every single skit, but he rolls right along with all the costume changes and crazy makeup, clearly loving every minute.
THIS SKIT WAS LAUGH OUT LOUD STUPID FUNNY. I’m literally crying from laughing!!! This weeks Broadcasts is the FUNNIEST and most Creative in a VERY longtime! ALL the Cast, Writers, Producers, Directors, Makeup, Hair, Costume Associates, went all out, Spot On! I came for Michael B, However got SOOOO much more! This episode reminded me of the EarlyYears mid 1970s, I was high school! Had Mr Bill gone to heaven? Lol! What a cast of Characters! Thank You SNL!!!👍🏽🥰🔥🎉
It's clear that I am not the only one who laughed uncontrollably. Sarah Sherman is the funniest cast member to be added in years. Great stuff, keep it up.
Wacky stuff like this is the type of things my friends & I used to do as kids to make eachother laugh. This skit is very different, but it made me smile.
the 2 people on the coking segment have their teeth together like when I'm at the orthodontist when they have me do an x-ray rotating machine for my teeth.😂
I thought she'd be too extreme for the show, but hey, SNL does need a wildcard cast member from time to time and Sarah can tone down some of her humor if necessary.
Props to Sarah for getting Michael to do this sketch. Every other sketch written for Michael he's either the cool or the sexy guy, but Sarah was like, "Nope. How about you wear goofy prosthetics while I smear spaghetti in your face?"

She's unhinged, I love it.
What I wouldn't give to have been a fly on the wall to see everyone's first reactions when Michael and Sarah came out in full makeup and costumes. 🤣
That fly would have ended up in one of their mouths!! My God, I could not stop laughing!!!!
The audience was cracking up. Michael was cracking up on the side seeing Sarah come out first too.
Why not a person in the audience?

🤣🤣OH MY GOODNESSSSSS!!! I died!!💀☠️ put me in the grave!!!⚰️🪦 that blowing on the soup was super stupid!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sarah really brings that "Should I laugh or should I cry" energy to the show and its never been better.
We should all cry. She sucks. The show has been way, way better than this crap.

Sometimes its nice to just see some good old fashioned goofiness 😁
That's what the world needs, more entertainment for the lowest common denominator..

@@ThecrazyJH96 It IS that stupid. I mean, who came up with this bit? I wouldn't have laughed at this in elementary school. 🙄 🤤
I would have loved to hear the pitch for this sketch to Michael B. Jordan. This was great. 🤣
'Don't worry Michael. Sure, you'll look kinda goofy in front of the weather map but we'll give you pretty tight pants to wear.'
I would have said. "How about, no."
And to have seen them practicing 😂😂😂

I believe the pitch went something like "hey you know those mouthpieces you have to wear in games like Speak Out? they look like someone's face after they got trapped on a rollercoaster going 150mph for 19 hours."
Kenan is one of the top game show / morning news hosts in SNL history. The best part is him trying so hard not to break
Sarah Sherman is great at physical humor.
She’s a lot like a demented Lucille Ball!
That's a good comparison actually.
she's become a fast favourite of mine. very weird and refreshing
Jim Carrey energy as well.
“Say hello to my wittle friend.”
God bless Sarah Sherman and props to the writers of the sketch for persuading Michael B Jordan to be part of it.
when she blew on the soup. that sent me. LOLS
This skit is stupidly hilarious I'm here for it Sara, and Michael look like a hot mess🤣🤣🤣.
Loved this skit!
I could barely look at them. Awesome skit.
MBJ is killing it as a 1st time host!!
Hopefully a future five timer.
Keenan is way too funny. Just his delivery of "What?!" was the funniest thing in the sketch 2:06
That blowing on the soup!....had me weak!!!!!....I keep watching that part over and over.....I'm dead________flatlined...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I laughed too hard at Kenan's "You look NUTS"
The best part of any SNL episode is Kenan going, “…WHAT?” 😂😂😂

Gee, I wonder who pitched this sketch.
No idea.

Yeah I read somewhere that she did surreal and body horror films and now I find at least one of them.
what she isn't full time? Is she a film maker or something?
She was "Sarah Squirm" and I really did squirm. Most of it would be too much for SNL, but she is my favorite on the show.
Yeah, this is definitely a happy medium. Her squirm material is likely brilliant but nah, I’m good.
I lost it when she blew on the soup 😂
This is some old school SNL comedy at its finest. This season has been so great.
Said no one
This was absolute gold. Fantastic performance from Sarah and Michael!
Her physical comedy sketches are iconic
By that, you mean "I con believe anyone finds this garbage funny.".. Right?
By that I mean “I can’t believe anyone doesn’t find this funny” correct🤣
Meatball Men and Six Flags Guys are my favorite from her, she’s hilarious
She goes over the top like Kristen Wiig did.
Sarah Sherman is absolutely nuts and I'm so here for it.
Sarah is absolutely fearless and that's what makes her hilarious. I'm always excited to see what she's going to do next.

Every hairstylist's nightmare and every dentist's dream!
Sometimes a sketch comes along that reminds us all how much the prop, costume, and make-up departments really love their work.
the picture of them on the roller coaster in the same clothes hahaha
I freakin lost it when she started blowing on the soup! I'm so grateful for the dynamic Sarah adds to the show.
There is no one who could play this character better than Sarah Sherman.
First she wore googly eyes, and now a dental apparatus...Sarah Sherman won't stop until she's known as the living cartoon of SNL!
Don't forget the Meatballs skit
Kudos to the Make-up & Costume people. Everyone is looking good.
