I recall just after Glenn Ridge replace Tony Barber , the . Tony's picture was covered up when Pete Smith presented the runners up with the board game until the next edition was released.
Then again, we would've had a lot more quitters than ones that carried on to win the $50,000 jackpot (WAY lower than what it could've been in the Aussie version). If it was a progressive jackpot, then it might've been a different story (since if the amount we offered = Austraila rules, it would equate easily over $100,000US
