    This is a June 1991 episode of the Australian TV show "Sale Of The Century" on Nine Network (with hosts Glen Ridge & Jo Bailey).
    The three contestants competing on this episode are Miles, Shona & Ian. 🇦🇺 🇦🇺

    Not really sure that saying that your car exceeds "Australian regulations, 19 times over" is a particularly smart thing to do. Regardless, thanks for the upload. I wonder when they brought Nissan in as the primary car sponsor, since it was in by June of the following year

    Based on the viewer's question, the first episode originally aired on 12 June 1991, about two months after Glenn & Jo replaced Tony & Sparky.

    I recall just after Glenn Ridge replace Tony Barber , the . Tony's picture was covered up when Pete Smith presented the runners up with the board game until the next edition was released.

    The US version should've had you risking your prizes to return on the next day after each trip to the winners board.

      Then again, we would've had a lot more quitters than ones that carried on to win the $50,000 jackpot (WAY lower than what it could've been in the Aussie version). If it was a progressive jackpot, then it might've been a different story (since if the amount we offered = Austraila rules, it would equate easily over $100,000US

      +mzcrazyhunnii ...retired after the third night with a caravan, trip to south america, $5000 spending money, power tools, crystal glass furniture and the SALE OF THE CENTURY game, but didn't get the lapel pin badge!
