This video is so good this track is now affectionately known as ‘orange crayon song’ to my 3 year old son. He adores this track and asks for it often. I used to dance around the kitchen to this when I was pregnant with him so I think he identifies with it on a subconscious level too, education starts early. Great video.

Funny always weirdly reminds me of cooler colors. Like I know they say Orange alot, but something about this track gives me like sea green in my head for some reason.

This is the best fan video for this track, because it embodies everything the track contains. The color orange, the counting, the children laughing and the general mystique of it. Great job, I can't get enough of watching this

Happy 50 years, Sesame Street!
Ahhh!!! The old Sesame Street animations!! I have searched for more of these. Thank you. Like seeing a distant dream that I wasn’t sure if ever happened or not. One thing I find oddly haunting about those skits is the use of dark space in the back ground of the moving pieces. That detail has stayed with me in my dreams and more or less my subconscious ever since I was a kid in the 80s watching these on television.

So funny...was watching Carl Sagan’s Cosmos, Episode 3 and the original version is featured in it. I was like this sounds so familiar, and then heard that baseline and it clicked! So cool BOC, the original Cosmos has gold for samples 🤙🏼

Well done I love this video. I actually can remember seeing a lot of these clips on Sesame Street in the early/mid 80’s I think. Insane seeing something you haven’t seen nor thought about for like 35 years. The guy on the cup is what really got my brain to pay attention I remember him haha thanks for the blast of nostalgia

I've always associated BOC with anime in a really weird way, mostly because I grew up with all those lofi hip hop, downtempo, and chillout bumps that used to play on Adult Swim in the early 2000's, and Boards of Canada would occasionally be played right before the commercial breaks during a show like Samurai Champloo or something. And then someone made a fan video for Skyliner on RUclips a loong time ago set to images from Spirited Away and the summery scenery just seemed to fit so well and remind me of Nujabes, Yoshihisa Hirano, or Susumu Hirasawa. So because of that weird association, the old man and the children's voices in this come off as English dub actors in an anime to me. I don't know what it is. Just sounds like a tiny old Japanese man watching kids play on a pier while eating an orange in a rundown part of town with a destroyed mech floating in the water. Feels like it could be something Hirasawa would have put together for Paranoia Agent right before something bizarre and creepy happens.
