My dad used to own a 88. It wasn't bad, but it sure wasn't a family vehicle. We used to use it for fishing and camping trips. Camping trips were the worst for a family of 5, because the back seat, if you want to call it a back seat, is not for adults. It was a good work truck and for getting from A to B, but sure not for family use.
Do you still have this rad lad of a truck? I'm excited to know what you ever ended up doing with it. If you added a turbo , what steps did you take to do so? Asking this cuzz I have 3 mazda trucks two of them are late year b2600i trucks and the other lovely lady is my 86 b2000 plus cab. I just spun a rod bearing in the 86 after 2 years of straight dogging her, after sitting 18 years lol . I'm in the process of pulling the engine and buying a rebuild. Only because she's matching and super early year 3/86 (sounding like a corvette dude 😂) but I love it lol especially because she was $500, og af, 1 ownner, and cleeean (: Thanks
I have one of these mine is an 89 all stock and the thing never stops running no matter what it came from Craigslist for $1050 the only things I have done is oil change and replaced the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and then the brake master cylinder that’s it it’s great. The heater will burn you up even in the winter time you can’t ever get the heater to stop working on these things. Mine also has a toolbox installed by the previous owner.

I have a 86 B2000 I love my truck I am the only owner it is a strong and reliable truck Red SE-5 standard cab they are great

my carb went out on mine and i yave the carb to replace it but not the adapter plate
