I actually bought my from a web site called Silk-bamboo. I have two sets from her and they are amazing material and she has so many different lengths for veils and colours. I always highly recommend her xD

    Hey!
I'm trying to learn poi and I'm curios did you start practicing with veil poi? Are there any starter exercises that could help me understand how these things work? Anything would be useful :)

Hey, I first started out with a cheap crappy pear of LEDs from ebay which I don't recommend as they hurt like hell haha. But what helped a lot was just experimenting with different movements and spines while listening to music. Along side with watching other veil poi artists such as Dana.

I am studying your performance:have you a secret solution not to make the veil rounds terribly around your arm/wrist?It is my nightmare.may be I use veil too long size(1.80x80cm while I am 1.60 tall?)Many thanks

My veils are the same length as well and I've encountered this problem a lot. Was really hard to unwrap my arm at the start. Dana Beaufait does a similar thing which I learned off from her that when it happens just start moving your arm in the opposite rotation. I might actually do a video on this to help :)

many thanks: you are right, I sow many dancers do that to send free the veil but I think it is necessary remain quite, calm, without panic about what could be the effect on the public...

Very much so. Best advice is to deliberately wrap it around your arm and unwrap and get use to the movement before trying to do it with combined dancing haha. That should help.
