- Home to some of the largest and most vibrant coral on the island, Blue Bay is a must snorkel in Mauritius. Located in the south near Mahebourg, Blue Bay features multiple entry points that do not require a boat. The extreme size and visibility make this a primer destination for any visitors wanting to experience coral reefs.

I'd love to dive here!
Quite lovely!
we did your acsess tip, was a great day ,not so much current that day, best snorkel tip here, and sure no need to spend your money on a boat. thumbs up
So glad it helped!
Long awaited video! Thank you!We are currently staying next blue bay for the next couple of weeks and wanted to check out the first snorkelling area you pointed too but after hearing your quick comment about it being murky and overrated we may just skip it. We always snorkel at the second spot. Love it!We were there yesterday afternoon and hoping to check it out again. You can also spot turtles in the deeper dark blue areas that the boats can you too.
We are yet too!!🤞🏾
Thanks for sharing! Hope you get to see some turtles 🐢
Great tips! We always snorkel in front of the hotel as well, was a big surprise the first time 😂
Just amazing 🤩
My tip would be to explore the first area near the national coast guard more, as we have met turtles here several times. Amazing!!
Thanks for the tip!
thank you! nice video. Have you noticed any problems (swimming restrictions, dead coral, oil strain) related with the oil spill occurred in 2020?
I wasn’t there before 2022 so I can’t say for certain
Ok thanks I meant any recent restrictios or problems. I suppose there are no more

is the coral bleached?
Not during our time there
What are the huge flat corals called
I believe they are Acropora, or Elkhorn Coral
You missed Mahebourg, which is far better.
For snorkeling? Where about?
