    LSD, DMT and psilocybin containing mushroom are just amazing. I could remember several years ago, I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.

      I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

    The saddest part about being exiled and doing LSD is the fact that LSD shows you that you are entirely resposible for every choice you've made. The only thing that matters is your family. It sounds crazy but that "Drug" has quite a few messages in it.

    • @dtsyt82
      @dtsyt82 2 года назад +124

      Part of the reason people say it's a mind-expanding drug is because hallucinogens allow the brain to rewire itself and form new connections that wouldn't happen under normal circumstances. This is why there can be such a profound shift in perspective when confronting an issue such as childhood trauma, etc. There is so much potential in psychedelic drugs and we're just now beginning to understand the value they can hold outside of a recreational setting.

    • @ericmurray8789

    • @calebhohneke8482
      @calebhohneke8482 2 года назад +84

      @@ericmurray8789 Very true. But it also helps you reveal that message. That's why individuals should seriously consider whether to take it or not if they are going through a rough time as thoughts/worries they are trying to suppress will come to the forefront....and in that assembly of chaotic thoughts, a pathway tends to reveal itself to you on how to address those situations and resolve them.
      The brain tends to shut out anything that is considered too stressful to the point of where it will create a mental overload. LSD lowers those gates. That's why I think it could be a great "drug" for mental health issues as it would help a person fight their demons and potentially change their life. It certainly showed me a lot personally.

    Not trying LSD or similiar psychedelic at least once, to me, is the equivalent of never leaving your hometown your entire life. Its very sad that people miss out on this incredible human experience.
    Edit:
    1. OBVIOUSLY you shouldnt try it if you have mental health issues.
    2. 98% of "bad trips" are caused by, either the reason above, or people being reckless and making stupid decisions. If you take 3 whole tabs at a party full of strangers, for your first time, after you just broke up with girlfriend, thats your fault for being a dumbass. Not the compound. Have some basic sense and respect.
    3. You can enjoy psychedelics without going balls to the wall. Just like you can enjoy a cocktail or two instead of chugging an entire bottle of vodka. You take 1/3 of a hit of acid and have a nice mellow, controllable time.
    If you're not an idiot or mentally ill, theres an astronomically high chance that you have will have positive, often life changing experience on psychedelics.

    tbh, acid is probably the reason i'm still around to this day. It's such a powerful antidepressant, but not always in the same way. Sometimes you have to come face to face with what's in your mind and that's really the most accessible way to do that. no filter. not even to yourself. I'm autistic AF, so most feelings i end up having to sit and decipher and figure out slowly. with acid it's "oh, that's what that is. that's why i feel this way. that's what's going on." Usually tho, it's just a big happy euphoric, "why is everything funny?" "why is stuff moving?" "i love these trees" tho. There's also that huge seratonin thing, which happens to be lacking in people with chronic depression. Idk, a trip every 2-3 months ends up being that mental reset that can separate you from that cliff more often than i'd like to admit.

    Phillip. I'm so sorry about your Mom. My mom's mother lost both breasts to breast cancer (seperate incidents). She died of an unrelated anurism. My mom is on her 3rd bout of breast cancer, had 2 lump tumor removals, and has polyps she's awaiting to get removed (don't know if I spelled it right) as well. She's had skin cancer in the past two. It is really hard watching your mother struggle with things like this. I'm so fortunate my Mom turns 68 in a few months. I so hope her life is longer than she thinks it will be. I want to urge everyone who reads this to get your breast exams, colon checkups (lost my dad's dad to bowel cancer), and all your checkups your supposed too. This stuff is serious. Life is precious. Catching things early can save ALOT of pain and possibly your life. @christopherandhobbes9846 2 года назад +21

      @@playgroundofsound7683 A thumbprint is basically just a massively irresponsible dose of LSD, it comes from the idea that you dont really dose it out but you put your thumb on pure lsd crystal and take the dose off your thumb. To put it into perspective, a standard dose of lsd is about 100 micrograms, a microgram is 1/1000 of a mg. A thumbprint dose will easily be a few mg of acid. So a lot of the horror stories your hear surrounding lsd are from people who were miseducated about the substance and took a massive dose that inevitably sends them into a drug induced psychosis. Acid can be a truly transformative substance but we need to teach individuals how to use it safely rather than teaching abstinence.

    He hit the nail on the head when he said the church/religion got in the way of parenting. A lot of parents think they're doing the right thing by raising their kids in a strict religious way but too often it does way more harm than good. So many people would be great parents if they'd just raise their kids with love and have open conversations about life choices... the kids would turn out so much better.
    My mom had so much potential to be a great mom but the religion took over and ruined everything.
    At the end of her life I think she might realize it's better to have an unconditionally loving relationship with a daughter/son you don't agree with than to not have one at all.
    One day she might look back and go "ohhh... I kinda missed the point there".

After all the stories of the drugs and experiences he had, the one regret he mentioned (and the one time he got emotional) was over having a relationship with his family. I really hope he is able to make a real connection with them soon and that they (his family) realize it's OK to be different and still be a close member of a family. If you read this Philip...good luck to you and I really don't think you have anything to regret in your choices and your lifestyle. I hope (and pray) your family is open enough to allow you back into the 'family fold' and accepts that you are who you are and being who you are is acceptable and that accepting others for who they are IS the core teaching of almost all religions.

      God it's been that long. That's crazy. I didn't even think about it when he said he went to a grateful Dead show. So unfortunate that this next generation didn't have anything like the dead to relate to and spend their youth having good clean fun. I quit going because in 93/94 it started getting too much like phish shows. Cops, bad drugs, not the greatest people coming and trying to capitalize and the Allman Brothers were killing it and low key. RIP all the musicians and crew that have so many of us a church to go to and find ourselves as youth.

Changed my life as well. Fulfilled a feeling of freedom and adventure and camaraderie that I needed in my life at that point. I’ve done way more than my fair share of drugs like that. Not the heroic doses he’s talking about, but I was very taken by all of it and indulged myself to the limit of, and at times beyond the limits of, my capabilities. Thinking it’s probably rather likely that I’ve ingested and sold some of the lsd he was pushing back then. Haha. Hope all is well with the homie. See ya on down the line sometime dude. ✌🏼🤘🏼
