Physical traits are easy to see on film and with the right coaching and talent around them elite physical traits can be made into an elite player. It’s a lot easier to scout physical traits than football IQ. Football IQ can be taught and physical traits can’t. In fact, in the later rounds most teams are drafting for physical traits cause at that point taking a flier is worth it.
