- Here's my take on George Lynch’s tones on Wicked Sensation using the Axe-Fx III, definitely one of my favorite albums ever!

Wicked Sensation was one of only 8 cassettes that I had during the Gulf War. You freakin NAILED the sound perfectly. Would love to hear a full song with vocals.

Had Don Dokken solo on cassette, pretty much the only tape I listened to for months living in Al Dammam. Still brings back memories when I hear any of Up from the Ashes song.

I remember that CD being only $2.99 after the on-set of Grunge music. It was the best $2.99 I ever spent. I learned so much from that record. Not a bad song on it.

By far the best Lynch tone ever. I'm a drummer and Lynch is my fave Guitar player ever. Every time I record drums, I'm looking for that Mick Brown drum sound on wicked Sensation. Good job on all this stuff dude, you kill it!

Lynch has been my main inspiration since the 80's as a guitar player...you definitely nailed my all time fav lynch tone!!

P.S. I can only play Lynch's stuff on my 1989 Kramer nightswan for some reason, it's the only guitar I have that's fast enough and feels right playing it.

This is pretty damn amazing. The beginning of this totally blew my mind because it sounds exactly like George’s tone. I’m friends with a drummer in two of George’s bands, Chris Moore, so I’m going to get a hold of Chris and send him this so he can send it over to George. Hopefully George is on RUclips and can leave you a comment.

Beautiful Rocco! Absolutely stunning replication of the tone man! 🤘 Q for you - the IRs - did they make the biggest difference in how that low mid range comes through? Super good. I will try to convert it to AxeFX II using FracTool. GL is my favorite 80s guitarist, but fav solos are probably still when the darkness calls, and Mr Scary live version on Beast from the East. Neither of which I can play all the way through, but haven’t seen anyone else who can do that either lol.
Oops, I found out quickly FracTool does do backward compatibility with AXE FX 3 to 2. However, FracTool does let you open it up to view the settings of all the blocks. With some patience you can recreate it in AXE FX2.
