How to convert a photo to cartoon using Photoshop

- In this tutorial, you'll learn how to convert an image into a cartoon using Photoshop. Other programs can be used as well.
It's not about applying filters and requires time to make a cool cartoon from an image.
The process isn't speeded, and it's perfectly made so everyone can follow. It requires NO skills.

Wow, I always thought that creating a cartoon version would be veeery difficult... but once you know the techniques it's actually not that difficult! Thanks! I've used the pen tool for this video, because most of the people watching only have a mouse so the pen tool is the only option. I use a graphic tablet for myself, because I find it more productive.

1st i did the nose line as shown. But whn i tryd 2nd n 3rd, it shows me fill sub path n only the last path get filled.

for the super newbies like me and have cs6 to duplicate the image in 1:04 press Crtl+Alt and drag the image sideways. make sure you have the moving tool selected ( the little arrow on the left corner top )
Hey somebody please help me, at 2:31 whenever I click the fill path, in my own Photoshop,instead of the inside of my pen tool will be filled with black, it will be filled with the outside of my pentool. so basically all of my pic will be filled with black.
How do you make your pen tool stroke sharp like that? Mine always seems to look feathered

look at 0:15 under "Background Contents", I've selected "Transparent"
I can't 'Fill Path' to colour in the shapes made with the pen tool - there's no option when I right click having made the shape. Using Photoshop v23.5.4. Can anyone help?? Driving me crazy!!

Does the new background have to be that good because it decreases the quality of the image when enlarged
It's better to use a quality picture, always.
When I'm finished making a path. I fill it in with the color black but it only changes the background to black? ... Help?
