That’s the slickest black I’ve seen! Very sharp! We all built that same truck last year for the USACC group build and this truck is just as nice as the best of that GB
Yes it does look great. Just put a 1/10 scale 55 Ford body on my RC crawler. The body is made by Proline in America and it comes clear. They get painted from the inside then you peel off the outer film.
@@olezippi it is stock. I painted it pale yellow with white wagon wheels. To paint it yellow you have to spray it yellow first, then spray it white, and then spray it black so you can't see through it. I've been collecting 1/18 scale diecast American cars and trucks from the 50's. Just subscribed 👍
Great build! Back in the late 90's I used to use automotive paint on my builds. had a local auto paint store near me. Now that I'm trying to build again the prices have gone crazy! I went to that same paint supply store and wanted a can of primer, and they wanted 34.00 for a spray can! I live in Southern california and hobby shops have all but dissapeared. Nearest on to me is over 35 miles.
Dang Zip your amazing!!! Really nice and sharp as always. And if by chance are you going to the model in Greenville Tn this Saturday. It's about 4 hrs for me and planning to go. Great build!!
Hey quick question what’s the best way to attach resin wheels to a stock model frame I’m only on my third model and trying to figure out how to attach the resin wheels I bought from iceman. Thank you ! You have beautiful builds
Hey Mark. Resin wheels are a little on the brittle side so I like to modify the kit vs the resin wheels. I tell ya, every kit is going to be different for the attachment points. I've used anything from aluminum tubing for sleeves, toothpicks, wire, etc. Just dig in your parts box and try and figure out what will work the best. Any time you scratch build it takes some thinking and experience. Sorry but that's a hard question that really doesn't have a direct answer.
Hey, thank you so much for your time and feedback. I appreciate any of the advice that I could have. I’m definitely gonna look around and start thinking of ways that I can attach these wheels. I am only on my third build and any advice I can get definitely helps. Keep up the amazing work. It’s definitely an inspiration.
May need to change your channel name to... Zippi's Strip Club. You've become the master at recovering bad paint jobs (or at least you've gotten a lot of experience)
Thanks man. When I decided to tuck the bumper in closer to the body they just didn't look right to me so I switched them and liked this look better. It's a kustom Street Rod so anything goes.
Great looking build!!
Thank's Tim. I appreciate it Buddy.

Nice being able to see the chassis without turning it over ; )
Thank's man. Yeah, I just thought leaving the C-notch exposed would look pretty kewl.
@@olezippi The structure becomes more playful and 3-dimensional!

Excellent build! What glue do you use to attach mirrors and door handles? Mike
