- 7.5 inch diameter LOC Doorknob flown on an Aerotech J450 Dark Matter motor at MDRA's Central Sod Farm on a calm day. Outfitted with a 72" elliptical fruity chutes parachute to try to stick the landing again. It did!
Excellent! Thank You for the post! 👍🏻🍻😎
I have an Estes Dooorknob that we have flown off of several F end burners. Great flier. Nice video.
Lol.😂 good one dude.
1500 feet apogee in 7 seconds, while it takes Apollos, SpaceX, etc . 10+ seconds to clear 100 meter launch towers😮😮
Turn the fins so that one aligns with the lens - otherwise they act like blinder :) Good show just the same!!
I watched that thing launch, very cool!
awesome!!!
Aerotech engine? What size?
Aerotech J450 Dark Matter motor (54mm DMS)

Any specs and launch date, ??? Thanks
All the specs including launch date are right in the video (subtitled). They are also in the video description. Is there additional info that you are interested in that is not mentioned there?
I only saw the Apogee of 1500 feet, at 2:00. Do you know the thrust force, weight, TWR??? THANKS

@@kareemsalessi Date of the launch is right in the video title: Doorknob Sticks The Landing Again! (11/11/23)
@@kareemsalessi To get the specifics of the motor, Go to thrustcurve.org and look up the Aerotech J450. I believe the rocket weighs about 15 lbs loaded, more or less.
