As a German I just want to say that you absolutely nailed the pronunciation and that we 100% actually talk like that, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I love the stealthily datatagged mirrors on the Blade, that was done by a real tradesman. If you squint you can hardly see the half inch high writing right across them.
Yess cant wait. Last one was so funny and great now with real awesome bikes. Everytime the budget bike battle logo with voiceover comes I will laugh my rear part off.
So excited by this one, seeing as I spent a year restoring a YZF750 and then sold it shortly after, will be interesting to see how you get on with it 👍 I have a few spare carb bits kicking about too if needed
holy fuck im excited for the next episode, seriously. the mechanic man is amazingly entertaining, someone should get him a youtube channel and follow him around all day
@@LushmanGB So at one point I had a full exhaust with no Exup but the servo motor was still there, I unplugged it and it did exactly this plugged it back in perfect again,
Just bought two old bikes from auction. -97 fireblade and -99 cbr600f, both in very nice condition. To be honest the blades rear shock feels kind of soft but it’s not that bouncy. Still love the old fireblade, feels like home after 15 years without a bike.
Loving every minute of this. I bought a brand new 1995 red white and blue fireblade and my mate had a YZF, takes me back guys. Have THE best time !! Looking forward to following the journey 🏍 🏍
@@Jason.cbr1000rr from what I remember the blade was faster but my mate was a much quicker rider than me anyway. I just preferred the look of the Fireblade, especially the foxeye
Looking forward to watching the latest BudgetBikeBattle. Two legends. I became a fan back when you matched the Suzuki S RAD vs Kawasaki ZX7R. I had a 96 ZX7R and the bike was amazing. I compare the 90’s to early 2000’s sport bikes to classic muscle cars. Before tech took over. No rider modes. Just Carbs and fun for miles!👍
I had exact year and colour as this many moons ago. A couple things I found are. Exup valve if removed and not jetted will not rev. Even with jetting there is huge hole in power around 6k. Only true fix is full exhaust system. They are very sensitive to silencers. As a master tech at Honda and spending many hrs on dyno experimenting I found best performance to be a stage 2 dyno jet, std headers with exup valve in place and a mildly restricted silencer. With a full bore open silencer the power curve sucked as these engines like a bit of back pressure. I eventually had head ported and forged pistons fitted but piston slap from pistons due to being forged and clearances needed made me take engine out and drop in yzf1000. I would check coil packs and ignition connectors as these are also prone to water ingress. Love the channel.
Classic. You boys are like Bevus and Butt head when you are excited 😆 We have got Octoberfest in Duvauchelle (well in September) no bikes but plenty of Sausage 🌭! So pretty similar 🤔 good luck with JHS rebuild marathon...again!
Love you guys and I hope ya'll feel sorry for me living here in the states where over the past 12 months we have had a total of maybe 2 YZF 750's come up for sale on Ebay. 😥
As a german i have to mention that bavaria is the biggest state by size but only second in residents after north rhine-westphalia ;-) apart from that i love the BBB series
Love it, best BBB since SRAD/ZX7R! My bet on the Blade handling, it's not just the shock...with a kangaroo throttle and dodgy rear end feel, the swingarm bearings are FUBAR....
I'm sure those yzfs had problems with the exup valve, worth researching. My brother had two of those blades, well made, reliable bikes, rear shock has always been gash though😅
Please do all the maintenance on these bikes, grease everything, clutches shocks springs chains get them on dyno all set up (do everything). And add a nice pipe to each at the end and ride them then, enjoy! And do this pleeeease 🙏🙏🙏
Hey guys always nice to be a part of your bike gala and lots of fun everytime .how much fun guys have just have me can't wait for the other vedio.mr old school Kawasaki zx7l 93.thanks guys .great team!!!

I cant wait!
I can't wait for James' face and comments in his lady killer accent lol

Those little moments that most TV shows would cut, like you both laughing at the single heated grip, are what make these so much fun to watch.
Really looking forward to this one, love both the bikes! 🤩
Love you mate!

Budget Bike Battle is 44T at its best. I love it!!!🎉
You two together are absoultely priceless could watch you both mess around for hours 🤣🤣🤣 best channel on RUclips! ❤
Chris mocking sie German accent cracks me up every single time 😆
Can't wait for the next episode, James needs his own show in discovery
I love the stealthily datatagged mirrors on the Blade, that was done by a real tradesman. If you squint you can hardly see the half inch high writing right across them.
It’s painful waiting for these to be released! I wish I had come to the channel 10 years later and could just watch them all in one go
This bbb cannot com out quick enough I'm so freaking excited for what's to come
Woooohoooooo. Its back.....Best show by far. Well done Sue and Stath
Bought a 750 SRAD because of Budget Bike Battle. Was just like these, cost me a small fortune to get it running right. Absolutely love it now!
Love the intro and the stock footage going way out of hand is brilliant
BBB is the best thing on RUclips, these lead up videos just add so many layers of anticipation

Love it so much.
The BBB is such an experience, from the buying to the wrap-up. Just getting started.
The 44T boys with the BBB is the absolute best viewing on the choob.
You boys deserve TV time.
I think at one point or another we have all brought bikes like them 2. Great stuff looking forward to what James has to say.
holy fuck im excited for the next episode, seriously. the mechanic man is amazingly entertaining, someone should get him a youtube channel and follow him around all day
Great start. Be interesting to see why the yam can't rev over 6000 rpm. This journey is going to be a cracker 👌🏼
I think the exup valve is seized in the closed position. I had that same problem on my fzr1000r
Or vacuum rubber is cracked
Had the same issue on my fzr600r ashes ago , 150psi through every hole I could see in the carbs did it xD

I always get so excited for the first James appearance of the BBB.
What an awesome way to start my day!! Cheers guys!! Very much looking forward to this series
Love it! Please do a trunk/boot size comparison. How much can you fit in each bike's boot? These are my favorite series. Thanks guys.
I f#cking love Budget Bike Battle! Best thing on RUclips......
Ive just binged all previous BBB’s, bloody lovely stuff.
Am I the only one getting strong David Earl and Matt Berry vibes from the Baron?
epic as always! looking forward to next episode.
BBB7 , 4stroke 250s!!! cbr250 and 20,000rpm...do it!
Once they are sorted they will both do well, those were two of the most reliable bikes made and no electronic bullshit to deal with!

Watching Chris eat that select made me wince!
Nice, I'm so glad you're doing a BBB again; they're the best. Together with The News of course.
Love it, made me chuckle. Nice one Nige! 👍🏼
Total retro-chic gorgeousness, gentleman. you've nailed it.
My interest in bikes is fairly casual & I came across the video by chance, but really enjoyed it. I shall be back for more!
Don't look at the shock has being shagged on the Honda, look at it as the rear ride height device ENGAGED
And they said it was technology useless for roadbikes. Team Honda baby
Hands down the best channel on RUclips and the BBB series is amazing, been watching since the beginning and they just get better
Loving this already!! Can't wait for the workshop shenanigans ! 😂👍👌👍
This one is my favorite. I have a 96 Fireblade project bike. I am looking forward to getting it done.
