I’m looking to get a WCP platinum TRD. It’s good to see one on the ground. The configurater is still wonky because I was trying to build this truck and it said i had to add the 3” lift if i wanted the TRD package. I knew that had to be wrong. Thanks for keeping us updated!
Great video! I currently have a 2022 blueprint sr5 and really want to upgrade to a 2024. What trim would you recommend that has a lot of bells and whistles without going trd pro, capstone, or 1794? Trying to stay in 60-65k price range.
I bet this truck has that terrible V6 Twin Turbo that is being recalled. There isn't an open recall on 2025 models yet because then they can't sell them. Buyer beware!!!! They are having to replace EVERY V6 Twin Turbo they have produced for both Tundras and LX550's.
Completely not true at all. The recall is for an affected range of 22/23 Tundras. Production range is from early Nov 2021-mid February 2023. 98,600 Tundras are within the range, with a failure rate of under 2% of the 98,600
@@TundraDude34 Here's a Toyota news note: Jul 26, 2024In early June, Toyota announced the recall of nearly 100,000 Tundra pickups and about 3,500 Lexus luxury SUVs to fix a problem that could cause their engines to lose power while driving.
@@TundraDude34 Toyota Replacing 102K Tundra and Lexus LX Engines after Recall Jul 26, 2024Toyota. Toyota and Lexus will replace roughly 100,000 engines in Tundra trucks and LX SUVs built for the 2022 and 2023 model years. The replacement engines will resolve a May recall caused by ..
Yes, everything you’re saying is correct. The remedy is replacing all the engines OF the affected range of the Lexus & Tundras, not all of the ones ever built, just the ones in the range.
I don’t care. But I care enough to leave a comment. I have over $100k cash that I’ve been sitting on this past year to spend on a new truck. I wasn’t planning on spending all of it, but if I found the right truck, at least I’d have the choice. I won’t be buying ANY Toyota vehicle. They’ve started building trash vehicles, and charging RIDICULOUS amounts for them. They’ve lost the plot. Toyota is a joke now.
Options are kinda limited. I’d roll the dice with a Tundra before I spent that much on anything else. GMC 6.2 and 5.3 are throwing rods and lifters left and right. Ram is straight trash and ford looks like dog shit. Toyota has made mistakes for sure lately but they are the least likely to screw you on a solution. American truck makers can give 2 shits about the customer
@@jameslake7116Ford is using wet oil belts. GM and Ford V8s use displacement on demand which have a lot of issues. Ford and GM transmissions are kind of a disaster. The RAM and Titan are being discontinued. The Tundra is the only game in town, just don’t buy a 22 or 23. The Tundra has a great transmission, doesn’t have displacement on demand, uses port and direct injection, is powerful, and gets good mpg for the giant truck it is. The build quality and reliability of the Tundra is improving pretty quickly.

Thanks for another great update. Hope everyone had a blessed day.
It’s easy to confuse with solar octane in some media photos, I saw one the other day on the highway and it’s a great color.
Maybe its just me, but to me the black trd grille looks more premium. Seems backward to put the gray plastic grille on a premium trim.

That platinum got me thinking. I would love to see one with the performance package.
I have 2024 platinum it’s amazing truck
Good to see Tundra sales up a decent amount in Q3, YOY!
The Terra is beautiful !
I would buy it
The Tera color does not photograph well, like the lunar, but in person it is beautiful.
The windchill pearl Platinum is it! That is a sharp truck!
Love to see a 2025 1794 TRD off road
Hey Mark how is the wireless charger 📱 in your new truck? Has Toyota fix the issues from the charger resetting?
2025 they updated the wireless charger 👍🏼
@@TundraDude34 so with your 1794 how is the wireless charger 📱
I have a 24, so same ol’ issues
Seats look a little more plush in the 25 Platinum.
Rumours starting to swirl that 2024s will be subject to the engine recall
So perhaps 2025 is a good option😅
Everyday there is a new rumor about something lol
Okay thanks
I thought the bed step was standard on the platinum, 1794 and capstone.
Nope. The power bed step/side steps are optional on non TRD 1794 and Platinum, standard on Capstone
Never paying over $50K on a new truck again. Hell no!
In my state all I see is lease deals, it’s as if folks no longer care to own a vehicle
You have the option to buy at the end of a lease
can you do a review on a 2025 trd pro?
Absolutely. Just waiting for them to arrive at dealerships
Toyota total sales are down 20% down over year. I guess it's not the tundra. What is it?
I took a quick look at the list for September. Looks like the Tundra is one of the few positives compared to Sept 23
👏👌🤙
Tundra dude Three Four.
EX-PEN -SI-VEEEE.

I honestly wouldn’t but anything post covid. Seems like every qc metric through out the industry is down big time.
100k? Raptor Shelby. Nuff said
@jameslake7116 I totally agree with you. Toyota has been down lately but still head and shoulders above the rest.
